Wow, that sounds like a scary off! Glad you are ok and hope you will have a go at fixing her but if not I am sure you can strip her for parts for a replacement. Meteral things can be replaced, though it probably hurts like hell in your heart to see your toy in such a poor state.

Wow that must have hurt, serious off right there. I've driven directly into a tyre wall (at a mere 30mph) and it wasn't fun, took a lot of time and money to fix the car after that. One thing it did make me realise is that having a steel chassis and panel car with a dozen airbags comes in handy some times. You'd be dead in an Elise. Give me five star EuroNCAP any day!

Oh no man. I'm gutted for you.

You are, though, alive to tell us about it. You can't be replaced.

At the risk of, but not intending to be insensitive, if you wish to find a new home for the chargespeed rear bumper I would be interested.

Sorry to read about this Andy - as you say - that is the peril of racing.

I hope you have no lasting effects from this and you manage to get everything resolved car wise without too much additional trauma.

Ah Andy couldn't believe this when I read it, so gutted for you. I have to say yours was one of my favourite zeds on the forum, a stunning looking car that could win a concourse and yet it was driven as it was meant to be on track and hill climbs. Good on you for using it as such.

She was a beauty.

Ah I just hate that word, "damp", wet or dry and you know where your at, but hate the unpredictability of greasey tarmac.

So sorry to see this Andy, cant add anything that hasnt already been said.

Sh#t! Looked at the first pic and thought that doesn't look too bad.....then scrolled down.

This ^^

Same here. Shows how solid the car is even after a roll

Can't believe vultures are already circling

Andy,

That is one poorly z, truly glad you don't appear to be so poorly, as Chris said, take it easy over the next few days.

Wrap your z up in the z shed and see if miracles really do come true.

Hope to see you back up and running in no time.

I saw the first photo and thought, thats not bad at all...... then I saw the other side. Considering you barrel rolled, you are rather lucky you didntland on the roof.

Glad you are ok though....... Find a new shell and transfer the engine (and SC :))..... perhaps my 240z ;)

Can't realy add anymore to the above sentiments. This one feels like a death in the Zed family, I hope it can be saved as is truly a special car.

Andy - Glad to hear you are OK, shame about your zed though, at least you were enjoying it and driving it as you should.

Hopefully it will be able to be fixed.
