Mine does it too. HR model with 13'000 miles No smell at normal driving but when giving it a bit of a heavy foot then the smell appears. Not a clutch smell but a burnt chemical sort of odour then it soon clears

I can understand your way of thinking but why did they have to park so close to mine. I couldn't open the door fully to get in.. Maybe the other person doesn't know how to open doors but climbs out of the sunroof ..

I parked in a pub car park last week. Massive car park too. Obviously the bay's closest to pub were busy. Anyhow as usual I parked well away from anyone in the overflow car park where it was totally deserted. Great I thought. Anyway when I returned to the car later the overflow car park was still deserted BUT some **** had parked right next to me leaving a gap no bigger than two feet .. there were no other cars and approximately a spare EIGHTY SPACES !!!

Did you slowly bed the pads in before braking too hard. I used to work in the trade supplying brakes and what can happen is that if the pads get too hot too quick then the adhesive between the metal backing and pad material becomes absorbed through the pad to which then glazes the pad surface area. Not saying this will be the problem but it does happen .. Me and my team always told people when installing new pads.

My car does exactly the same with only 12'000 miles on the clock. It rattles like crazy when turning off. I press clutch down too when switching off

I do think the Zs look great in black and it doesn't bother me it showing the dirt. I just hose it off now and then. Though I do feel for veeg33.. And 2 years ???!!!!

I would want new panels on my car too. Why settle for filler. It wasn't there before and the car should be as it was originally.. I pay a lot on insurance. Car' van'motorbike. If I claimed it would be a small proportion of what I've already paid not taking into account future payments
