Meets

Important insurance information for attendees of meets and anyone intending to organising meets.

The Club does not cover members or individuals to organise events or use the forum name to host, promote or advertise events. This forum and the “Meets” subforum is for sharing events that are being organised by other parties, who will have event insurance in place. The club accepts no liability for individuals, cars or property for third party claims, accident, damage, injury, traffic offences and incidents when on or off the public highway. Club members and cars partaking in meets have to conform to the current Road Traffic Act, be properly insured, taxed, be roadworthy and obey all applicable laws.

Any damage of any kind remains the responsibility of the car owner or the person causing the damage. The Club recommends all members suitably insure their cars. If members choose to attend or organise meets, they do so at their own risk and are recommended to ensure they and the event have suitable insurance in place.
