Recommend me a shampoo

Right only ever used autoglym shampoo it's lasted me over a year, just wondering if any 1 eles used it then changed to somthing better before I buy another 1

Has conditioner in it too, ...quite how that's a good thing for a car I have no idea though.

I've been using Gyeon Bathe+ for a while now, it adds a layer of magic on top of normal shampoo, so it's good for topping up your shine when it's just a maintenance wash. They do a non+ version too without the magic, not tried that yet.

Amdetails bubbles is amazing, smells great and lathers up really well. Great dilution rates as well.

I would advise a detox shampoo as well - use it every 8 weeks or so to remove remnants of any polish or wax and start over.

Forgot this when I posted above and not sure if you can still get the deal, but it was a great price and the shampoo and wheel cleaner are both ace, not used the fallout yet.

In my opinion, you'd be hard pressed to find something that's NOT better than AutoGlym, unless you shop exclusively at Halfords that is.

 

Car Chem 1900:1 (or Tailor Made, same thing but you get to customise it a bit).

Gyeon Bathe+ as mentioned, or simply Bathe which is exactly the same as Bathe+ but without leaving any magic behind.

CleanMax as previously mentioned.

HubiKote HubiWash.

Auto Finesse Lather.

Poorboys Super Slick & Suds.

FinishKare Super Concentrate (#118).

Any of the Dodo Juice options.

GTechniq GWash.

Chemical Guys Mr Pink.

Any of the Juicy Details offerings.

 

Literally any of those would be an improvement over AG so take your pick. Personally I use/buy all of the first 5 on a regular basis.

Tried most over the years, the very best I have used is Sonax red summer smells awesome and is super slick BUT it's very expensive when you consider how much you have to use. Britemax is a firm favourite of mine.
