  1. Love this, a friends XFR has the Spires exhaust too, sounds great.
  2. Nice work, love solution finish. It's not something I have to use all of the time but is a life saver for heavily faded trim as dressing over that just creates a temporary sheen.
  3. You can get the rayon pads and car pro ceri glass is what I use to remove scratching on glass but it's tricky and you have to be careful with heat.
  4. Another thumbs up for the AD08's I have had them fitted for years and the wear rate is very good, still good if your sensible in the wet and not the road noise of the a048s.
  5. Any updates on this Chris? As per usual the advice on here is spot on with clay, tar removers and also fallout removers. I had this in recently, owner tried everything to remove it, freshly painted then left under a tree. I tried chemical decontamination to no avail and clay didn't touch it. I ended up wet sanding it as it had etched into the freshly painted panel but still removed it.
  6. Had the privilege to try most of the modern hot hatches and own one too so feel I'm worthy of chipping in. I tried a friends new rs when it was in for detailing and im not a focus rs or st fan (tried the mk2 when it was released loved the engine but not much else) I was really impressed, sure the seating position is high, interior abit cheap in places but it drove so well, I liked the steering weight, engine feels torquey only downsides for me being picky were pedal heights for heel and toe (brake is high compared to accelerator so had to go old school side footed) noise isn't a patch on the old one and the clutch felt springy. I couldn't buy one for image I don't think but considering I own a Renaultsport I would take one over the newer meganes, had a mini gtr feel to it. I also spent sometime detailing it so get to look in depth at a lot of parts and build quality is good apart from all the contamination they get delivered with. I'd take one over the mustang and I really like American muscle cars.
  7. Gutted Adrian I did the goodwood run, would of been great to have a chat, was in the new gt3rs
  8. Thing is with the proper setup and tools etc it isn't cheap. The coatings can cost £130, insurance, paint depth gauges, the time taken etc I think the £400-£600 range is fine for that amount of work, it takes time to do properly and safely.
  9. I'll forgive you Dan on this occasion í ½í¸€ I just saw the s decal on the side.
