  1. If you tuck the bumper it can suit a single exit. If they're the only 2 you're torn between I wouldn't entertain the idea of Cobra, they're not in the same league in terms of quality.
  2. For any used OEM parts probably worth firing @ZMANALEX a PM.
  3. Asymmetric 3's (which have been superceded by the 5's now), same sizes as Shezza
  4. I'm running Goodyear Eagle F1s on my 19" LMGT4s at the moment. Most people on here seem to rave about Mitchelin Pilot sports (which I've never had) so I'll probably try them out next time.
  5. Had mine coming up to 3 and a half years. Also the longest I've owned any car, still puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it
  6. Unless you notice your aircon isn't blowing very cold I wouldn't ever bother with an "air con service" personally. Over the years refrigerant will gradually escape and need topping up but other than that nothing should need any attention. No idea which pipe is which because I've never actually looked under the bonnet of a 370z But they should be different sizes so will only go on one way. You can try phoning Nissan although I'm not sure they'll care much, maybe just take your car somewhere with more competent mechanics next time
  7. Yep your instincts are right, they're caps for the service ports in the aircon pipes. L for low and H for high (pressure). They should just screw back on, only concern is what else did the people who serviced your car forget to put back on.

    carbon dash kits

Dashboard overlay kits look cheap and tacky imo. All the interior trim pieces come out pretty easily so personally I'd either spray/dye them or get them hydrodipped if you fancy a different finish.
  9. I use my 350z (DE Rev-up) as a daily and its one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned and a pleasure to drive. As with any 10+ year old car you've gotta expect the odd perishable (battery, suspension bushes, exhaust etc) to need replacing, but other than that I think the only thing I've had fail was the radiator fans (which were easy to replace/refurb). If you decide to go for a HR check if it's had the oil gallery gaskets replaced, if not they will need doing as some point which costs the best part of a grand. Whichever spec you decide to go for they're all great cars, just make sure you get a well looked after, rust free example and you can't go wrong
  10. Last time I swapped the brakes on my zed I went for oem Brembo discs/pads because I wasn't sure what the previous owner fitted and I only use the car as a daily (plus the odd spirited drive). For £300 all round they're not bad, but next time I think I'll spend more and go for something like Stoptech, hawk or DBA that'll hopefully give me a bit more stopping power and less dust.
  11. You'd be amazed what a decent metal polish and an abrasive pad can accomplish, might be worth a go before you decide to swap the backbox out
  12. +1 for Bilt hamber auto foam, it's what I use having tried a few. It does a great job as a pre-wash but as with any snow foam you can't expect it to fully clean the car, still need a proper 2 bucket wash after.
  13. What Alex said. There's no point "upgrading" your fuel system because you won't see any benefit unless you are massively changing the engine internals or going FI.
  14. Gave the old girl a quick wash this afternoon and applied the club sticker.
  15. I'd say you're probably right, as far as I'm aware most cars use the same wiring loom between model variants then just tape up unused connectors. Much more cost effective doing it that way instead of having to make several slightly different looms.
  16. Wow I've never seen a speedometer that looks like that
  17. How about a photo of the speedo? The DE redlines at 6.5k, rev-up at 7k & HR at 7.5k
  18. Pretty sure the HR wasn't available in any country until 2007. Do you not have a photo of the engine bay? That's the easiest way to tell because the 2 engines look very different..
  19. If you don't mind putting the effort in then personally I'd put the car completely back to stock, especially if you've still got all the bits. The zed already has a narrow market, if you sell it as a project you're limiting that down even more.
  20. Yeah they look like the oem ones to me. I know you can pick up genuine RHD ones on ebay for about £70, not sure about LHD though... Maybe in the USA?
  21. I tend to use quite a lot of autoglym, dodo juice and bilt hamber products, but to be fair I normally just do some research when I'm looking to buy a new type of product and go with what people reckon is the "best". If you go on detailingworld.co.uk there's guides on there for anything to do with cleaning a car plus product reviews for pretty much everything out there.
  22. Nightmare, sorry to hear that mate. Fire a private message to @ZMANALEX, he might be able to identify exactly what's needed and will probably have most of the parts.
  23. Yeah the oem looking rolled tips and the true dual layout were 2 of the main things that swung me towards the gemini
  24. The oem exhaust on mine lasted 10 years before it gave up in 2017 (at the common place where the back box joins to the midpipe). I repaired it, then in 2018 had the whole system replaced with an invidia gemini and Torqen HFCs which I'm hoping will last many more years.
