  1. I have spent the last couple of days researching Injectors and sharpening up my knowledge of size/use/Pros/Cons, however, i am at the stage now where i need gentle direction to my dilemma. I also see an issue with the Zed, a reason to dive deeper into the unknown (for me anyway) and see it as a self teaching experience. I have a slight knock/tick sound intermittently at idle and know its either one or a combination of Plugs/Coil pack/MAF/throttle body/Injectors. As i have never replaced any of the above (except spark plugs) since purchasing 6 years ago, i think it will be the right time to do a full sweep. So the questions i have are; 1) Is there any point in buying second hand OEM injectors? 2) Are reconditioned OEM injectors better than unbranded new? 3) Likewsie to the above question, are unbranded MAFs and Coil packs reliable? If i'm going to spend OEM money, i would rather go the extra pound and buy performance branded parts. 4) IF OEM injectors are 270-280cc @ 3bar (And DE idles at 3.5bar [~320cc] - What size of injectors do i go for if i opt for as an equal or better option? 320-350cc?? is 440cc over kill - I would prefer not having to upgrade the fuel pump 5) If larger Injectors and Pump was decided, would i be able to pull gains out of these with a larger throttle body...or is all this leading to ECU problems. Current Upgrades include; Takeda Hard pipe intake Plenum Spacer Berks Hi-Flow Cats Invidia True dual Cat back exhaust So in summary, i want to fix the knocky idle and if i can compliment the above mods with some more mods in the process, i would do it, but not at the detriment to the engine. (Bore washing) Any advice or opinons welcomed
  2. Hey, I had thought I was just dealing with a dead battery in my key fob for the past month or more, but when I went to get a new one today, the guy in the shop said it's working fine. So I Googled the symptoms and tried to do the on off 6 times procedure which didn't work, and now, not only do I still have to unlock the car with the key, I have seemly disabled the alarm because it doesn't go off anymore when I open the car door after unlocking with the key. As good as this is, that ppl don't an breaking into a car anymore, I don't like the thought of the alarm being disabled! Anyone got any more ideas or help as to how to enable the Alarm again and get my kep fob working? Is there a fuse in the car for the central locking? Thanks
  3. Bump...any offers for the airbox and pipe?
  4. Think I read somewhere that the headlight washers and inner arches don't line up/fit? Just wondered if there is any truth in this or has anyone done this change successfully? Cheers
  5. What ya mean? Like decode it or what? So it's just an oversized paper weight then?lol
  6. Bump, all offers welcone, this stuff must go!
  7. Ps By idea how I can get it off the bumper easily?
  8. I have a genuine one off my old bumper mate. I'l check tomorro on a score outa 10 how immaculate it is, but from memory I'd say it's about 9ish! No marks or discolouring, only dropping a point cause it's not new. Pm me if interested, i'l try get a photo tomorro for ya if interested
  9. Ooooo hold on a sec mate, sooo Sorry, I misread ur first post, I thought u meant mishimoto cooler, and not bottle. It's a weapon r bottle. But an absolute c**t to fit because using original holes it would sit a a bit of a slant which wouldn't look good, then with me having the core brace, the original holes wasn't even an option for me. Took me about an hour of head scratching and searching the garage for bits and bobs needed to bring it forward, to keep it level and to also use the Oriental holes. All i'l say on the matter it, if I new the torture, then I prob would just done the same to the original bottle that I had done with my coolant bottle! Sorry for the bad news, but best of luck.lol maybe someone on here has had more success than me with it!
  10. Sorry a bit of confusion on my behalf, I used the left hand one in the right hand hole, then used the right hand one on over to the further right hand side and mounted it with a new screw and hole! If ya get me?lol
  11. Yeah I used fresh fluid so had to bleed the system, simple enough tho, fill the reservoir and steer left and right little amounts. I found it handier with 2 ppl, one to steer and one to keep topping up, otherwise the air bubbles will splash out the top when the fluid disappears into the outlet pipes. The fluid will look foaming until all air is outa the system and fluid. Then it should settle to its original colour
  12. Just thought I'd clear some garage shelving space hence the clearout 2004 air box and intake pipe £50+postage . Powersteering reservoir with sprayed red cap, looks the part, maybe a wee refurbished if particular as a couple of the bits on the edges are wore off, also have bracket if needed £8+postage Original bose 6 disc cd player (poss with free cds...Can't remember if I emptied before disconnecting) it won't play copied cds tho £50+postage Portable freeview box for cars or even caravan, bought but never installed, new in box, not even sure how it works now that freeview on tvs have went digital only as of last year £20 (cheap if anyone is in the know or is keen on taking the risk) .
  13. Yeah mate, what I done was remove the 2 standard brackets, filp over the right hand one and use the same hole, then used the left hand one over on the right hand side of the cooler and screwed it into the plastic, good secure good, oh and I should add, I straightened both brackets in a vice to have a flat surface to mount the cooler on to. I can take a few detailed photos for ya if u want or run into head scratching problems!lol Pm sent mudman
  14. Hadn't thought about it tbh, suppose I do have a pile of OEM stuff I could prob sell.
