  1. Strange you've had this issue, I've had them fitted to my 350z for a few months now and haven't noticed any flexing/bending. Maybe it's only a problem on the 370z
  2. Personally I'd never trust ebay unbranded car parts. If you don't want to pay for genuine Nissan parts (fair enough) then I'd at least get something that's tried and tested from a reputable brand and seller- https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/nissan/nissan-350z/moog-nissan-350z-03-09-replacement-compression-arm-banana-arms.html
  3. I can vouch for these, here's the original thread-
  4. Definitely try an oem sensor first, very common for aftermarket sensors to cause issues rather than solve them.
  5. I don't have any experience with Cobra but I'd thoroughly reccomended the Invidia Gemini. Lovely subtle sound and great quality
  6. I'd reccomend turtle wax headlight cleaner & sealant, made a big improvement on my 350z headlights. Heres a photo comparing the before and after-
  7. Very true any gain is a gain, but for the cost of a CAI I'm pretty sure the benefit over decent drop in filters is negligible
  8. In that case I'd bet 90% of that gain is due to the map not the CAI
  9. I'm sorry but there is absolutely no chance you'd get anywhere near 30bhp gain from a CAI, 3bhp maybe
  10. If you're happy with your current exhaust setup then personally I'd just leave it alone and get the remap, sure you might get 10bhp or so more from HFCs but it's not worth making the car overly loud. Sure you could pair the HFCs with a completely new, quieter system (like the gemini) but then you're talking £1500 for a small gain, not exactly value for money.
  11. Yep sounds like it was just the brakes sticking on due to the crappy weather and not being driven in a few days, nothing to worry about
  12. Please don't ever take your zed to Kwik Fit again, in fact just avoid any "free" checks companies offer because they're almost always a con to extort you into getting a load of work done that's not actually needed. HFCs will free up a bit more power and increase the volume a fair amount, but they may also throw up a CEL which will require O2 sensor spacers or a remap to get rid of. The guys at Tarmacsportz will give you a trustworthy opinion as to the condition of current setup.
  13. Not in Birmingham but not too far there's Tarmacsportz in Derby or Cougar Store in Leicester, both specialise in zeds. I've got an invidia gemini on my 350z which I would thoroughly recommend
  14. Only if you pair it with an MREV2 plenum
  15. After you've touched the brakes a couple of times that coating will be all gone on the contact area, with no harm to the pads. Never heard of anyone removing the coating prior to fitment.
  16. Currently experiencing an issue where I'll go to add a reply to a topic then all of a sudden I'll get redirected to the homepage
  17. Plenum spacers are only for the DE/revup, the HR has a completely redesigned air intake so no need for it.
  18. I can vouch for the opentop springs, I always used to have this problem with my 350 but now with them installed it clears the latch every time
  19. Good idea, HFCs can cause an EML from the post-cat O2 sensors (because they obviously don't filter as well as OEM cats), so best to get them turned off during the remap. I had my cat-back, HFCs & remap all done at the same time so there was a very noticeable power/noise difference Pops & bangs is an optional map that can be put on, I didn't opt for it because it's basically unburnt fuel detonating in the exhaust, which will eventually blow the inside of your cats to pieces.
  20. Yeah the extra £50 would be well worth it imo. Emmisions tests with any HFC can be a bit hit and miss but as long as you get them nice and hot beforehand you should be fine. Do you plan on getting the car remapped after fitting?
  21. Looking good How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?
  22. Yep don't think I've ever really heard anybody praise Japspeed stuff, buy cheap buy twice as they say. That's fair enough not wanting to pay £600, for around the £400 mark you could go for Tarmacsportz/Torqen own branded HFCs, or there's Berks which are very popular. I've had the Torqen ones on my Zed for a couple of years now with no issues, and they were a perfect fitment to my invidia gemini cat-back.
  23. I'd be careful with Japspeed, they're known for their poor quality and fitment. What's your budget?
  24. DE and DE rev-up exhausts are the same, the HR is slightly different.
  25. Also received mine today, cheers for putting in the effort to make it
