  1. Paint job looks great but isn't the Nismo decal upside down?
  2. Are you running standard wheel/tyre sizes? And are your tyres all fairly evenly worn? When I first got my zed I had a similar problem which turned out to be because the tyres on the back were brand new and the ones on the front were close to the limit. The stability control system is pretty sensitive and the difference in rolling radius between the axles was upsetting it.
  3. I've got the Invidia Gemini paired with Torqen HFCs, it's the perfect level of noise for me. Not so overly loud it's offensive, no drone but sounds brilliant when you put your foot down. Ark Grip is another great option, not sure how it compares to the invidia on sound levels but it's a popular option because of its great looks/quality. On the louder end of the spectrum you could look into tomei, they use titanium rather than stainless steel so their stuff is much lighter. Depending on your budget you could also look into the Motordyne Shockwave.
  4. +1 for Autosol. I use a little on a microfibre cloth every time I wash the car, it takes barely any time/effort to keep the tips looking like new. Sadly nothing is going to keep them shiny for long though because as soon as the engines running the carbon will start building back up, especially if you've got decats/HFCs.
  5. You can get both belts from one of the traders on here (Torqen, Tarmacsportz etc) or from any Nissan dealership for about the same price (£40). They're dead easy to change- jack the front of the car up, remove the engine undertray, slacken the bolt for each tentioner, remove the belts, fit new ones, tighten tensioner bolts, re-fit undertray, job done
  6. The bite point is just high on the 350z, so if that's your only "issue" there's probably nothing wrong with your clutch. If you were upgrading to aftermarket parts I'd see the point but if you're sticking with oem you might as well wait until it starts slipping to replace it. The original clutch on mine has seen 65000 and still going strong.
  7. I seriously doubt there would be any difference whatsoever, let alone one you'd actually notice. If there's nothing wrong with your current Y pipe I wouldn't waste the money.
  8. Also never used you guys for anything, simply because you're too far away from me. Only ever heard good things from the guys on here though so I'd happily let you look after my zed if you were closer.
  9. It's not available straight out the box but it can be done thanks to @cs2000 and his electrical wizardry.
  10. I would be interested if mine hadn't already had an Uprev tune by the guys at Horsham.
  11. Got an air blower or pressure washer? If so you could try and blasting it out, that's what I normally do.
  12. Good points but there are some brands (e.g. Invidia) which have joints to allow movement without the need for flexi's. Like Davey has said, sadly even without ever scraping it's usually the flexi's that fail first due to their design.
  13. I'd probably go with Stillen personally because it doesn't have any flexi joints, which are usually what tends to fail first.
  14. No idea I'm afraid, I've never really looked into it because I use the standard facelift airbox with a HKS filter. I'm sure there's plenty of info out there though if you do some research, or PM one of the traders on here (Tarmacsportz, Torqen etc).
  15. It's a short cone intake system from JWT- https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/JWT-NISSAN-370Z-09-DUAL-POP-CHARGER-INTAKE-SYSTEM.HTML It's known for it's noise however because it draws in hot air from the engine bay it'll cost you a few bhp.
  16. No drop in filter is going to give you so much of a gain that you'd really notice any difference sadly, however it should give you a tiny increase in performance. HKS, K&N and Cosworth are all good brands. If it's just induction noise you're after you'd be better off with a pop charger or a CAI kit.
  17. Very nice! Love the carbon rollover hoop covers
  18. +1 for NGK, but I usually go with iridium- https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/fuel-ignition/spark-plugs/574-350z-de-ngk-iridium-spark-plugs-set-for-standard-engine-4469-kt.html Have you asked @ZMANALEX if he has any airboxes? Failing that if you can't find one you could get an aftermarket CAI like this-https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/intakes/intakes-system/403-350z-de-injen-cold-air-intake-sp1986blk.html Definitely get the car setup with the correct parts before the tune, there's no point getting a remap if you're immediately going to swap bits out.
  19. I was going to offer you a listen of my setup but I'm near Warwick so a bit far away sadly! I've not heard the gemini without HFCs because I had the whole system put on at the same time. I'm guessing the tone would be the same it'd just be a bit quieter more like OEM.
  20. I've got the gemini paired with Torqen HFCs and I find the sound perfect for me personally. It's not overly loud that it's antisocial, or deafening when you're cruising but it has a lovely roar to it when you put your foot down. Whereabouts are you based?
  21. You could try a Y pipe which has an interchangeable section so you can easily swap between a straight pipe and an extra 200 cell cat as needed? 2 companies I know that do that sort of thing are Motordyne and Torqen so might be worth giving @Adrian@TORQEN a shout. Other than that all HFCs I've heard of seem to be hit and miss, think it's just the risk you take sadly.
  22. Assuming the tyres on both sets of wheels are similar brand/condition, I think if you swapped to a standard set of 18" Rays (in average condition) then £1000 your way would be fair. I've seen LMGT4s up for over £1500 and standard rays (which are still a very good wheel) for well under £500. If you do decide to sell/trade them then personally I wouldn't bother with a refurb, because the buyer may want to change the colour/finish anyway. As for the numberplate this is just a guess, but £250-£500?
  23. Ah right fair enough, so there will have been a few that were registered in the month or so before the change came into effect. Good luck with the hunt OP but I imagine that will be pretty hard to find, personally I'd worry more about finding a decent example than the extra tax cost.
