  1. Fair enough just thought it was worth a mention. Good luck with your hunt!
  2. If you can't find an OEM one there's someone on here who makes his own-
  3. Yeah I tried new OEM springs with rubber washers in the past but it didn't work sadly, which I'm guessing might be because of the weight of the spoiler.
  4. My springs have arrived now and I fitted them last night (5 min job). I went with the complete ones and first impressions are that they're well made, look professional and are bloody strong! My tailgate now clears the latch with one press of the button eventhough it's got a Nismo V1 spoiler on, and it still closes just as easy. All in all a simple but effective product that allows you to open the tailgate one-handed
  5. Good to see you on on the forum. I ordered a set last week, will post my findings on here once they arrive
  6. Agreed, if you're not bothered about a noise or power increase HFCs might cause more hassle than they're worth. To guarantee you won't get the warning light pop up you'd need a remap to turn the rear O2 sensors off (£400), plus you'll always have the worry of passing the emissions test unless you know a "friendly" tester. @ZMANALEX might have some second hand oem cats available.
  7. Yup right one is the wrong way round & left one is correct, very common mistake.

  9. Whereabouts is it broken? If your Y pipe doesn't need changing you could go for a Cobra or Scorpion half system? Far superior in every way to Japspeed (who are known for their bad quality).
  10. Yeah you'd like to think so but it's worth checking. I thought you said you'd already checked the runout? If you haven't that'd be my first point of call.
  11. If you've already measured the run out of the hub and it was within tolerance then the next thing I'd check is the disc thickness with a micrometer.
  12. Sounds like DTV, did you clean the mating face of the hub and measure the run out when you fitted the new discs?
  13. Very strange that you can't get many quotes on comparison sites even with a clean license and no mods. Whenever I do a quote (with bodykit, wheels, air filter, exhaust & tinted windows declared) I get loads. Is your zed an import?
  14. Never been a fan of mounting numberplates inside grills seeing as it cuts off half the airflow to the radiator
  15. Invaluable information (that I hope I'll never need).
  16. The guys at Horsham Developments fitted mine, can't fault their service. Think they charge £84 to fit a catback system, which in my opinion is an absolute bargain seeing as it saves wrestling with stubborn fixings which haven't been touched in over 10 years.
  17. The OP does say in that thread that it's a Gia Cuzzo style spoiler.. https://www.ctd-germany.com/en/challenge-rear-spoiler

    V3 Spoiler

If you're after genuine Nismo I imagine that's going to be very hard to find. If you don't mind a replica Tarmacsportz do one- https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-380rs-nismo-v3-style-rear-spoiler-with-brake-light.html
  19. A few I took last night just before sunset.
  20. Ah, yeah sounds like one of the seals might be on its way out then. Seeing as the oem slave cylinder is a known weak point I'd upgrade to a Stoptech one and swap the line out for a braided one personally.
  21. Changed how? Bad slave cylinder usually causes the clutch to not engage/disengage properly or stops the pedal from returning all the way when you release your foot.
  22. Might be worth using a few different comparison sites if you haven't already? I've always found using the exact same details on Confused rather than Compare The Market gives a cheaper price for Admiral (think this might be because Admiral own Confused.com). Obviously choosing your cover type just comes down to how much the risk is worth to you. In regards to whether or not insurers check certain details.. Personally I'd never lie, the last thing you want is to be in the situation where they won't pay a claim because you've not been honest.
  23. Tried Admiral? I've been with them since I got my zed nearly 4 years ago (when I was also 22) . They never asked about pervious RWD experience and back then I paid £872 which I thought was very reasonable.
  24. So long as you're happy with whatever you decide that's the main thing. If the extra hassle isn't worth the money for you then that's fair enough. It's a shame your zed ownership is ending like this but good luck with your next car
  25. If the dealer will give you the same price whether the car is on standard Rays or LMGT4's it'd be a no brainer for me. Definitely worth covering the courier cost or taking a trip to pick up the Rays Mikey has mentioned, you'd end up with around an extra grand in your pocket. Also I'd take the private plate off and get that up for sale if you haven't already?
