It is a joke but sadly it seems to be normal practice across lots of different industries like broadband, energy etc- you get penalised for loyalty to a certain company rather than rewarded.
I've been with Admiral for 7 years because they always come up cheapest but it's always a fight to get a fair price, especially seeing as they try and take themselves off price comparison sites if they detect you're a customer nearing your renewal.
This year my renewal quote was £650 but I managed to get it through confused for £400 with a £250 lower excess and added NCB protection.
I always make sure I start getting quotes as soon as I'm within the 30 days because I find a lot of companies increase the quote the sooner you put the start date.
I had my LMGT4s powdercoated in gunmetal grey just over 2 years ago, the car is silver and I wanted some contrast.
The finish is great and they look just as good now as the day I had them done.
After having a trials bike and then a moped when I was younger I finally got my first big bike (2002 ZXR400 L9) when I was 19 for my A2 license.
Nearly 6 years later I've got my full A license and keep toying with the idea of getting something bigger but can't bring myself to sell the baby ninja!
As above, I'm after a kit to touch up a few stone chips on the front end to make them less obvious.
Never bought anything like this before so wondering if anyone has any reccomendations?
Had a quick look online and this looked like a pretty comprehensive one-

Pricey, but I guess if you're after genuine/oem you kinda have to expect that
From the little bit of research I've just done looks like if your car is a a facelift then they're simply plug and play.
If you've got a pre-facelift they'll work but won't illuminate unless you run in an extra wire.

Depends what your needs are I guess, whether you want single or double din, nav, touch screen, apple/android car play etc.
I normally go with either Alpine or Pioneer because I've always used them in the past and found them to be good quality.
The gas struts aren't supposed to open the tailgate automatically, they're just there to make it easier to open and hold it up.
If the tailgate doesn't clear the latch on the first press of the button you can try packing out the boot springs with a few rubber washers.
Why not get the gains and keep your car MOT friendly with some HFCs, best of both worlds
Personally if I was a potential buyer decats would put me off because I don't know any friendly testers so would have to factor in the cost of sourcing some cats & swapping them over then back again come MOT time.
I've bought tyres from various online sites over the years and never had a problem.
It's always a good idea though when buying anything online to make sure it's a trusted site that you either know or has good reviews.
Guess it depends on your personal preference really but for most people the oem exhaust is too quiet and doesn't do the lovely V6 justice.
There's a few different options really-
- Swap the back box out for a set of short tails (resonated or not).
- Replace the whole system with a cat-back exhaust, there's loads of different ones about that offer different volumes/tones.
- Replace the oem cats with either high flow sports cats or decats
I've got a set of Torqen high flow cats and an invidia gemini cat-back exhaust on my 350 which is just right for me, really sings when you open up the throttle but not stupidly loud when cruising around
