  1. If it's the module created by Flyboy here's the thread which has a bit more info about it- @cs2000 has taken over from Flyboy doing these now though so if you've got any questions he's probably the best guy to ask.
  2. Not sure if it's always the case, but after I replaced the dead battery in one of my keys I had to re-program it to the car. I used this guide-
  3. Depends if you're running stock cats, HFCs or decats. I've got HFCs and there's no drone or rasp but wouldn't want it any louder personally. Looking at the setup of the buddyclub I'd guess it's a fair bit louder than the Invidia.
  4. It's more around the £1000 mark, but I've got an invidia gemini system which looks and sounds superb, plus the quality is top notch
  5. I've got a pair removed from my 55k mileage rev-up last month, completely intact. No idea how much they're worth though..
  6. Thanks for the input Bry. You're right I guess the timing could just be a coincidence but I find that really unlikely because the car had been running absolutely fine since the day I bought it up till I got the exhaust done. I'll give the maf a check because that should be quick and easy. Plugs were done last year and if a coil was failing I'd expect a misfire? Water temp sensor I assume is fine because the reading on the dash is completely normal. Throttle body shouldn't be too dirty because I cleaned it out just over a year ago. I guess maybe one of the O2 sensors could have been damaged during the exhaust swap but wouldn't this bring on the EML and throw up a fault code?
  7. Gutting to hear about the exhaust situation mate, can only imagine how frustrating that's gotta be after you've paid the premium for quality parts. Like the others have said, I can't believe they didn't marry up easily. I had the same HFCs and an invidia gemini system fitted last month at H-Dev and they didn't have any fitment problems at all so don't know what's going on there Don't get rid of the LMGT4s they're such a great looking wheel! I agree with Davey, maybe just get a bit of colour into them to liven them up a bit
  8. I work at JLR Gaydon too so just next door, living in Banbury at the moment. Haven't been to any meets yet but keep telling myself I will
  9. The Nismo S-tune is actually made by Fujitsubo so that and the legalis R are extremely similar. I think the only differences are the tip style and the internal silencers are slightly different (the nismo is supposedly louder). Again it probably wouldn't be my choice, but if you really want to go for the nismo bear in mind you'll have to pay 20% VAT + duty fees once it lands in the UK on top of what you've already paid.
  10. If the fault only started after you fitted a new headunit then my first guess would be that you've damaged the ribbon cable going to the climate controls whilst pulling off/replacing the trim to get to the radio. I think any damage to the cable/connector can cause the climate control to behave erratically.
  11. Jheez that fujitsubo aint cheap, especially considering it doesn't come with a Y pipe I know you say you aren't interested in noise and each to their own and all that, but for that money you could get a much better exhaust (imo) like the ark grip for example. Or you could even get a decent system like the invidia gemini or miltek + some HFCs for the same price. Like I said, each to their own, but might be worth thinking about
  12. It's a pad wear sensor mate. When the pad wears down enough and that clip touches the disc it'll squeal to let you know they're low. You only need 1 per axle because all 4 pads should wear at the same rate.
  13. Common fault on the Z because the brushes seize up. You're correct, the motors bolt in so you can just replace them, or you can buy a whole new fan assembly which will come with new blades, motors etc. The mishimoto fans are supposed to do a good job but are apparently way louder than oem, so keep that in mind. If you're practically minded, there's a guide on here somewhere to split the motors you've got apart and refurb them yourself pretty easily. That's what I did when I had the same problem as you and they work perfectly now
  14. Pretty sure they're exactly the same, I did this mod on my Rev-up and don't recall any switches being listed for specific model years. As long as you replace both switches with ones that have got the auto function you shouldn't have a problem
  15. Fitted mine to my Rev-up this morning and all works fine now but had the same issue initially. Had to swap the wires around so the white and orange wires from the module now go to the white/red wire on the car and the grey and brown wires go to the white/green wire.
  16. Everyone seems to rave about the Xtreme kit, so that's what I've bought for mine (haven't had it fitted yet though). Single mass and dual mass flywheels both have pros/cons.. SMFs are cheaper, lighter (so the car revs faster) and don't tend to wear out but they cause a lot more transmission noise usually described as "chatter". DMFs are more expensive, heavier and wear out over time but cushion out a lot of the noise. It's entirely your preference which one will suit you best.
  17. If you mean the boot poppers (the little part with the spring in) I think @Adrian@TORQEN sells these new or @ZMANALEX might have some pre-owned
  18. Finally got round to having Torqen HFCs and an invidia gemini system fitted to my Zed last week and since then it seems to have developed a minor issue, hoping you guys can help me get to the bottom of it! First a bit of background- About a year ago I had my Zed serviced & Uprev'd by the guys at H-Dev, before and since then the car ran absolutely fine. This time I went back for another service, exhaust fitting and another Uprev. Since then I've noticed that until the car is up to temperature I get hesitation for a second or two around 2500 rpm under hard acceleration in any gear. It doesn't happen under light throttle, and once up to temp the problem completely disappears and the car runs completely fine under any load. My first thought is maybe it's a tuning issue. I spoke to the guys at H-Dev though and after having another look at the data from when my car was there they said all looks fine, plus they never mess with the map the car runs on cold start. Wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this or has any idea what might be causing it? I know loads of people on here are running similar setups but I've never heard of this sort of problem before. Any help/advice appreciated!
  19. I've got a spare one of them in I'd say average condition (few light scratches). Can pm you a photo if you like?
  20. I've got a Rev-up so I hope you've got it right Either way, I can let you know wire colours/pin numbers once the module arrives and I get round to fitting it if you like
