I've searched high and low and cannot find anyone who sells a custom fit half cover - just for the roof of a 350z. Can anyone recommend a well-fitting, well-made outdoor half cover ? Preferably black rather than silver. Thanks.

I'm new to Z ownership, and have what may be a dumb question. On the roadster, when you press the button by the rear number plate to unlock the boot, should it lift up automatically. I press the button and it unlocks, but then I have to push my fingers in the narrow gap between bootlid and body to lift it up. Just wondering if the gas struts are meant to be strong enough to open it automatically ? Cheers.

I have an intermittent issue with the passenger side window on my 350Z roadster. It has specific symptoms, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me narrow down where the cause could lie. * Window stops working - wont go down. * No click from within the door which you normally hear when it's working * Wont go down using the switch on drivers or passenger door, so presumably not the switch * When stuck in the up position, if you open the roof, the window immediately goes down as it should, but once down, wont go up again, so presumably not the motor. * So far, after numerous roof open/close operations (and window still being stuck), i've eventually got it to go up again, and then it continues to work, until the next time it fails. * Does not appear to be associated with the window "lock" button on the drive side.

Bought my first Z a couple of weeks back. Always hankered over a 260Z back in the day, but missed the boat on that when the prices rocketed. More recently thought I was going to get a Boxster, then by chance got the chance to drive a 350Z roadster and was sold. Within a couple of weeks found and bought this 33K miler.
