  1. Honest, any of the three will do you and unless you’re capable of shaving milliseconds off a lap time through pressure balancing, you’ll prob be hard pressed to notice the difference between the two Michelins. The PS4S has a slightly stiffer side wall, but again we’re talking fractions. I’ve tried the 4S and they’re good, but chose to run the 5 on my car. As you say, the extra wear is massively worth the difference over pretty much any other tyre, when it comes to your pocket. So yeah, PS5 would be my shout. It’s also a pretty tyre which we all know is the most important thing when it comes to choosing rubber, eh gang? 😉🤣
  2. Sells car because it’s too unreliable. Buys Lotus. 😉😅
  3. As an option, i found that running full OEM suspension with uprated ARBs gave an excellent compromise between good road manners with improved road holding. Well worth considering if compliancy is a major concern.
  4. Actually stuff like Ohlins and the higher KW stuff is better for road usage as it’s better quality and properly damped: the budget stuff will always be crashier on the road (and I say that as someone who’s run BCs before!). Matching sets would be the way to go, and if budget allows then I’d go KW probably over BC/Tein etc. Bilstein top stuff is good too.
  5. Hot damn that’s some brake porn there! ❤️
  6. Take it this wasn’t from an MOT you’ve had done? Easy answer is that unless you are the kind of guy who can cut and weld bits out to fix yourself, take it to the local garage and get them to point it out to you. Might only need a wire brush and a bit of slap on it, or might need the aforementioned cut and weld job.
  7. Powerful enough to remove the patio itself if you want 🤣
  8. The only K7 you should be buying is a Kranzle. Those things will outlast you.
  9. Agree with the above, nothing wrong with a cheap exhaust if you know what you’re getting but I wouldn’t ever consider buying one from abroad as the returns simply aren’t worth the savings. It would be worthwhile having a chat with your local exhaust specialist about a custom job, as they tend to be very similar in price to the ones you’ve mentioned but usually 10x the quality.
  10. Booooooring. This will be the first Aussie gp I’ve missed live for years this year, I cba to get up early and watch it before I go to work at 0630, just seems pointless. I’ll watch the highlights instead.
  11. I say go see them both, drive them both and then make up your mind. Adverts are only a guide, and the best ads hide a myriad of sins.
  12. I love F1, but this season is dull as anything. Precious little action at all in the first two races, at this rate I hope Max wins every race just so we have something to remember from this year. 2026 can’t come fast enough.
  13. Changing the MAF may not have done anything, I would always go OEM if you think it might be the issue as non-OEM MAFs are notoriously unreliable (trusted brand or not). Been there, done that! See if someone local has one you can swap over quickly to test? I’d still go back with a can of brake cleaner and run it over all the joints to confirm there’s no leak, can’t hurt and it’s an easy one to rule out.
  14. You say new MAF, OEM one? Could also be something as simple as an air leak post MAF too, worth checking that out as well.
