Ricey Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Very nice artwork mate ^^^^^ This mostly. It does have an element of significance to it but I always feel like a bit of a ***** trying to make out like there's some grand meaning behind it. If any part has significance it's the Fallen Angel - reminds me that we can always pick our @*!# up and dust it off when everything gets fubar......but mostly I just like the fact that i did things 'riceystyle' and just marched into the tattoo parlour and said 'I want a fallen angel - here's a rough idea.......go to town'. Same with the cityscape. Showed the artist the angel and told him I wanted a ruined/apocolypic cityscape and he just did his thing. Tattoos are also awesome '****er detectors'........you can hate the tattoo or tattoo's in general but if you don't like me because I've got me then ipso facto you are therefore a ****er and thus not worth expending breath upon. Additionally: - annoys parents - totally inappropriate for the office environment - devides opinion and certains draws a few open mouthed looks - compensates for an undersides appendage. - gives the only opportunity for me to do a real life crocodile Dundee quote when someone gets their 'tattoo out' (tiny Chinese symbol meaning Pork Char Sui or something) ......."that's not a tattoo...." - for a man who's generally a bit of a wuss it reaffirms that you're not a complete fairy as quite frankly I would suggest its as close to childbirth as a man will get......20 hours on the back is deffo enough for me! 1 Quote
14N Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Was the tribal done/finished first, then the fallen angel made to fit, or vice versa? Quote
Ricey Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Was the tribal done/finished first, then the fallen angel made to fit, or vice versa? I seem to have a lot of CK boxers! This was done when I was 18 (I'm about 27 here) Then this Tribal looked crap and way too small now First sitting of cityscape (3 hours) 2nd sitting (3hours) Last sitting (as above).....2 hours Quote
14N Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Yep, yet another tattoo story that begins with "I had a little bit of tribal when I was 18....." 1 Quote

But memories nonetheless i like to think of tattoos as a diary on skin.. Quote

Flex Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I'd personally get the tribal bit removed as, I don't think it fits. Like the rest but needs more fire/flames! I can not believe you sit in your office shirtless though. Quote
Ricey Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 I'd personally get the tribal bit removed .......bless. Id like a bigger knob too and I know which would would be cheaper and less painful! 2 Quote

twobears Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Re the tattoo - I don't have any ink myself and have no idea how it is applied but I can see lots of little needle holes on the new bit. How do they do it? Looks really painful "Spooky that last comment as I'm currently saving for a knob job" Does the cost depend on the er, length of the task? Quote
