  1. You have mains in place so would stick with that. As regards the glass breakage, I had a similar issue when the glass retaining screw worked its way lose and the strong winds did the rest.
  2. Defo. worth an hours drive to a recommended Indy.
  3. The lock out bolts and washers are to stop the rear arms from moving which would effect your geometry settings.
  4. You will probably require the rear toe bolts. Rear traction arms not really required. Front adjustable camber arms will be required if the camber is out with spec. and you won't know this until you have the car on the 4 wheel alignment machine, however you should be within spec at a drop of circa 20, but 30 will be pushing it.
  5. Are you pushing the clip in the correct direction ? If so, give it a good scoot of WD40 or similar and a blow with an air line if you have one handy.
  6. Sorry mate, she is young, gorgeous and already got a sugar daddy.
  7. Fine to use without the AC belt, just make sure that the AC is switched off.
  8. Thats got to be name your price territory, have you thought about how long you will hold onto it for? It could easily be 100K+ in a few years ...... Been stored since 2003, don't know how long I can hold onto it for. Totally terrified that my beneficiaries just give it away.
  9. So what is my unmolested 29,000 mile, 1992, 3 door Escort Cosworth LUX: worth ? Radiant Red, Full Black Leather interior, factory sunroof, factory original stereo. No mods, except a stainless steel exhaust, no track days, FSH, every MOT certificate, and every service receipt, Original number plates, Original RS dealership rear window sticker and tax disc holder. Original purchase invoice. Never been out in the rain and stored in heated garage. Perhaps time to cash in: I've got a tenner with your name on it. Can you deliver to SE London? Why are you being so mean ?
  10. As above. Chill, just ignore and enjoy your weekend.

  12. Next time the noise is apparent, try switching on the air con to take the revs up slightly, just to see if the noise diminishes. Failing that, take the revs up to 1000rpm to check if the noise disappears.
  13. Absolutely, however, little chance of hydro locking due to the configuration of the intakes and the rear positioning of the motor. However i would have to grow a pair before I would attempt that manoeuvre with a super car.
  14. These things are worth a fortune. Keep up Dan.
  15. You will require spacers with most after market strut braces even with the Motordyne 5/16".plenum spacer.

    Help...

DBA T2 with Hawk is what you want. CMS carry them in stock.
  17. Trouble is, you then have an engine of completely unknown quantity. This one is from a crashed car, could've been run on any old fuel, revved to high heaven from cold, run low on oil etc. A rebuilt 135K engine could actually be far superior to one with 53K on it, easily. + it is the oil burner version of the VQ35DE
  18. Being old school I can totally relate to that:
  19. Aklex and Graham said: And having had a bit of a look it seems a 981 Cayman S is 1.2s slower than a GTR round Laguna Seca' date=' the same at Tsukuba and about 2 seconds slower at Sachsenring. Hardly disappearing in the RVM is it? [/quote'] At 2 seconds a lap slower, the GTR would soon be lapping you. so perhaps best to keep an eye on your Cayman rear view mirror
  20. NAT's? It does come with everything looms ecu keys the lot NATS can be turned off with an Up Rev tune. Have a look here for more information on NATS https://www.mavericktechnology.co.uk/sites/default/files/page-files/12-NISSAN_NATS%20and%20I-KEY%20Setting.pdf
