  1. Are you sure that the EML light is related to the de cats, or are you just assuming ? What is the code ?
  2. Fuel return based on AAM Fuel Return Kit at a fraction of cost. I have machined an adapter (similar to AAM's) to replace fuel pressure regulator. This will provide much higher flow of fuel to Venturi to pick up fuel from LH side of tank. Tricky part (for me!), was making pipework fit between AN-4 bulkhead fitting in top plate and adapter. AAM use a crimped hose with long radius bend to go into AN-4 to 1/8" NPT 90 deg adapter which fits snug. I'm using AN-4 braided teflon hose and fittings which take up a bit more space. In hindsight I should have used rubber hose with barbed hose tails and jubilee clips as others have done. CJ Motorsports suggest increasing the swirl jet to about 0.080" for 225l Walboro, this could be increased further to 0.100" or 0.110" for larger pumps. I will probably go for 2mm (about 0.078") nearest drill bit I have, should be OK to pick up fuel from RH side of tank. 4l swirl tank should eliminate any possibility of starvation on hard track cornering. Dave Yeah, agree not much room, but what you have will work fine. I did away with my surge tank and external pump and went with this: http://cj-motorsports.com/products/cjm-twin-pump-350zg35
  3. Remember that your install wont draw the fuel from the L/H side of the fuel tank as it requires the fuel pressure to be returned from the return pipe where the stock fuel pressure regulator is situated to syphon the fuel across from the L/H side of the fuel tank where there is no fuel pump, however there is a kit available for this.
  4. Fit coil overs and adjust to your desired height.
  5. Check the valve in the cam cover. If you have wear causing the oil emissions and it is valve stem oil seals or rings or pistons. Then you have two options: Rebuild the engine or fit a known replacement pre owned engine.
  6. Check the emission control valve which is screwed into the cam cover. Failing that, then I am afraid major surgery may be required.
  7. From the video you either have an oil ring or piston issue or you have to much oil in the sump.
  8. How much oil are you using per 1000 miles ? Please don't come back here and say that you have not checked it . Why did you drain some of the oil out ?
  9. Perhaps they forgot to connect up the rear washer pipe when they fitted the new roof. If you partially drop the roof cloth at the rear you should have enough wiggle room to reconnect the pipe, or at least to see what is wrong.

    Rear Tyre ASAP

Plenty part worn 245's in stock if you do not get any local. What brand do you require. ?
  11. CMS for new genuine Nissan.
  12. Sounds like internal failure, so without getting to technical, once you pull the box and inspect the internals you will soon see what is wrong. Perhaps a replacement CD009 would be the most economical answer.
  13. Yeah, probably just a glitch, so if it ain't broke then don't fix it. If the EML comes back on, then just pull the code and post up hear or drop me a PM and I will soon tell you what it is.
  14. Perhaps if the dealer had not been so greedy and marked it up in relation to what the car cost him and advertised the car at circa £10995. then that leaves him enough wiggle room to allow the car to retail and perhaps retain the new customer for future servicing , mots and future P/X. not to mention the commission on any potential HP deals. Unfortunately some of these guys do not look at the bigger picture.
  15. As per out PM conversations doors are in stock and good to go same/next day.
  16. Plenty in stock if CMS can not help.
  17. You have received informed advice, which I think is spot on. It would be so easy to post up what you want to hear, but I don't think that you would be happy with the end result.
  18. A waste of time, money and effort, IMHO. Nissan have manufactured the best option for the VQ35DE intake. If you want to lose a small amount of power to get the "noise" that you prefer, then go for it. However they would have to come up with something magical to achieve an increase in power. And magic costs money.
  19. The outcome will depend on who had the insurance, the garage or the test driver. Also, some motor trade insurance companies insist that you be accompanied. All depends on terms and condition of the insurance and what waver was signed if any. However this will be a total loss so expect to see this one at auction for salvage in the not to distant future.
