  1. Best to use an inch-lbs torque wrench. For reference 60 inch lbs = 5ft lbs or 6.7791 nm. However, as Andy has said, the bolts have to be tightened down following a specific sequence. If you require this sequence, then let me know. Here you go.
  2. This may be what you are referring to.
  3. Lubricate all the linkages and make sure that the micro switches are good. Does it close with a little bit of manual help? Also engine has to be running and your battery in good condition.
  4. Is this a current code or an archived code? Best to clear all codes, just to be sure. If DTC U1001 reappears, you will have to get a CAN system test performed to identify which control unit is causing the problem. I have all the control units in stock relating to this issue.
  5. Just piggy back the wires from the clutch pedal switch. If it is not the clutch switch, then try the crank position sensor.
  6. OEM pre-owned fully working motors are in stock, however the eBay ones work as I have used them in the shop on numerous occasions.
  7. Low mileage PAS pumps are in stock and good to go same/next day. PM Sent.
  8. I should have racks and pumps in stock for your GT4 Have you checked your tyre pressures?
  9. Best to source and fit the correct pads. As a last resort, removing pad material must be done on a lathe to achieve a uniformed finish

    TPMS fault

I think that the later cars don't have the wire and the TPMS tool has to be used. The quote that you have is reasonable providing they guarantee a fix.

    TPMS fault

Replacing the 4 sensors is extreme. I would try a DIY manual relearn first, the attached video has worked for me on numerous occasions, but remember this video is for a LHD 370. Also, if you prefer or require to use a TPMS tool then the Maxi TPMS works well.
  13. At 43,000 miles, it is certainly worth considering swapping out the DMF with the cover, plate and bearing. If there is any rattle from the fly, then best to replace. However, the DMF can be checked when you have the gearbox out. It may also be worth considering upgrading the clutch kit to handle your style of driving. Also, an SMF may be an option for you, but be prepared for some extra drive train noise below 1500 rpm, if you go this route.
  14. I just remove the shields on both the 350 and 370 for my customers and do not replace them.
