Garage Floor paint peeling - What Floor Tiles?
Ebized replied to larsdowg's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Thanks Randy, I have read this but wondered if anyone had had a bit more experience of Foam/Plastic tiles..... and had actually laid these in their own garage Not sure what these are that Darren-B has in his garage - but that is what I will be using (or similar) when it comes to 'upgrading' mine: -
More like you have joined the set now, the time you take between posting these days

But did you all come to the conclusion, eventually, that you preferred the 370?I hope so! Just went out for a quick blast in the 350, she just sounds awesome. Maybe the Invidia will enhance the driving experience Quite why Nissan deemed such a quiet exhaust on the 370 would OK is one of those mysteries. So many better aftermarket options out there now, but I never tired of hearing the Stillen on the 370 and with the synchro-rev. 370 was the best car I have enjoyed to date and would have another in a heartbeat if purse strings and a decent sized garage allowed What made you choose the Stillen over the Invidia? Because I was one of the first, if not the first, to get an aftermarket exhaust in the UK (late 2009) and at that time there were only two to really choose from - the Stillen and Nismo, but sadly the latter (which I had and loved on my last 350) was not getting great reviews across the Pond. In fact I got the exhaust over here before the garage selling their demonstrator that I was buying could release it to me - on orders from Nissan

Seen hundreds of posts like this during my time on the forum and going back to when 350's were still quite new. The boxes are strong but best described as "agricultural" ......and that's what helps to make it such a great driver's car. I was spoilt with the 370 and the synchro-rev that made changes, both up and down, a breeze! But a common characteristic of the 350s while warming up. But if it continues when fully warmed up then that might need further investigation. No harm doing an oil change + molyslip that has certainly improved things for many. During my time with the 350s (and 370 for that matter) always made a point of doing what might be best described as a two stage shift while warming up - i.e. 'feel' it through neutral rather than one solid pull through as you would/can when fully warmed up

Good to see you still with us in another Zed, and your initial findings being so similar to many of us who have been fortunate to enjoy both a 350 and a 370
-
Er......I don't think your topic is a "350 general" issue so you now find your dream in the off topic area

This. ^^^ Make sure you meet and deal with the person named on the V5 in a private sale and ask to see the marriage certificate to verify the name change. Ask for a signature from the woman to verify that against what should be hers already on the V5. Absolute must to make sure the VIN checks out.

You need to get out in it more

When I sold my 370 fortunately the buyer used one of the banks that I also use, so it was easy to do a bank transfer at the branch with no costs either way. OK so that was with a private buyer but no reason why that can't happen with a trader .......if he is willing (and can) to do that? I certainly didn't fancy a trip home on the train with quite a few thousand in bank notes

OP - Moved from 350 General.

That's Jim Bridges with his much lightened 350 that is very quick - I would hazard a guess on his way to Abbey Motorsport where he is having a supercharger fitted. That info from chatting with him at the Goodwood Sprint a few weekends back when I went to see Andy James in action. See post No.78 here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95825-andy-james-2015-sprinthill-climbtrack-day-season/page__st__60

And he still hasn't grown up......... Wish I were that young again........ But have a good one Andy.............no better way to celebrate than to have a good old blast in them there Welsh hills in the 370.

Did anyone else think that Carlos Sainz's brush with the wall in practice was not his fault, as if you look at the rear wheels angle that made contact just before he hit the wall it looked to me as though something had broken on the suspension? But agreed, Seb's final lap was a stunner.

Dan ramble - never....well maybe just a little - must of caught that off me But moved your thread to read when I have a few hours spare
-
Sorry to see that but seeing where you parked and the height of the dent I'd hazard a guess that was a home delivery van reversing - as my wife's car was hit sometime back by one of those and that looks remarkably similar. That said, without any evidence sadly the repair will be out of your pocket

Chrome - "page unresponsive" - Help please!

Thanks - seems to happen with any open tabs, but most frustrating aspect is when trying to check our gmail a/cs. Only way of clearing,as nothing will respond when the message flags up about being unresponsive is to restart the PC. Whether it is connected or not, simply typing posts is now painful - as though I am missing keystrokes Yeah, have already decided to move fully to Apple stuff, but not immediately so hoping there is a quick fix for the interim. -
Anyone have experience of how to correct this please on a PC? Becoming a real pain. Deleted all he temp files, browsing history and caches after a Google search but still no better and with the added hassle of resigning into everything. Whether it is co-incidence or not but issue seems worse when I go to view our gmail a/cs. Using IE atm but when I am on the forum it has never worked well for me.

You have the T & C's now Steve to sign up - good luck with your products

Had probably my best drives ever, and in the AMG in Scotland - its grip and power for a 2 litre turbo is just awesome.....and it has the 4/5 seats that is really the primary reason I no longer have a 370.......which I really miss, but the '45 gives really gives a similar smile factor per mile and although it can't keep up with a GTR in a straight line, in the tighter the twisties which I love, it is so much fun. It also comes in quite handy as a quite a quick taxi

I can bring my camera and upload some pics for you if I can be one of your group

Idling and Stalling Issue tonight! Help . . .
Ebized replied to monkeybrain1234's topic in 350Z Technical
Have you checked the air filter to see if it is still intact? And try running the engine with the filter out to see if that cures the lumpy running and/or change the filter if it is looking clogged.
