  1. At the Ace Café meet last Saturday there was an idiot on motorbike going past time and time on the road outside again doing wheelies - just showing off to the point that we getting so sick of it we half wanted him to fall off. If he was wanting to make an impression he did that for all the wrong reasons and I doubt many of the bikers there were 'impressed' as all that does is give true enthusiasts a bad reputation. OK so he didn't fall off or cause an accident that might have serious consequences for others.....but it is only a matter of time before his self believed invincibility will not be there.........
  2. I'm guessing poor sales figures for the 370z (certainly the Roadster) means fewer second hand sales thus prices stay steady? Anyone know (UK) how many 350z were sold compared to 370z? Not sure about 350s but here are the 370 figures I bet the majority of the 2014 370 coupe sales were Nismos - bought by enthusiasts primarily.
  3. Good s/h prices I put down to: 1) Rarity, in comparison to 350's. Yes, you can still buy new 370s but the price + tax + petrol consumption compared to other new cars offering similar 'bar stool' performance is never going to help sales now. 2) One of the last (non supercar) V6 engined sports cars with grunt and....now s/h ones are more affordable with new ones not being around for much longer I suspect with Nissan having deleted the roadster from the line-up. 3) Tuning potential that has only come to peeps attention in the last couple of years. 4) Has overcome the look put-downs, when compared to the 350's in its early years, now that the modding potential has shown how good they can look. I would have another in a shot if our circumstances permitted! So good news for current owners and for those getting one, IMO.
  4. Agree with the above and only luck seeing their driving in built-up/busy areas that they did not take other lives with them........
  5. Merged second thread here, tided and deleted posts.
  6. How long before the neighbours report you for building an immigrant squat in your back garden Super tidy block laying though - will that be the external finish?
  7. Welcome James Seems you have not found the 370 sub forum, so here are a couple of links dedicated to the 370 Nismo's to get you started http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66906-nismo-reveals-344hp-370z/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88796-370z-nismo/
  8. Hadn't seen this thread before - good info, so pinned as suggested.
  9. Having found that thread I did find it strange why some Zeds did not have the feature (OK maybe the JDMs) but my first ZED was a 2004 UK one and it worked on that ..... Can you remember if you do it with the doors locked or unlocked? Just tried again....nothing Can only suggest you follow the advice on the thread I linked above .
  10. Enjoying some fresh air! For those who have not experienced Adrian's car it is loud for the reason it has a straight through exhaust and anyone following and getting four 5" pipes letting rip with his engine's left overs.......
  11. And know where your VIN number is on the car for the boys in blue to see if the windscreen one has got obscured - as I did on purpose when cars first started having them, the thought being I was being clever taping it over so cloners couldn't read them
  12. Hope you don't get your live chats mixed up
  13. If just for trackday, trailer it? If Fleet is not far from you TGM have a huge reputation for racing Hondas - ask for Tom (see here in the pic) who is also a big fan of the 350/370's. Would not hesitate to use them if I were going down your route http://www.tgmsport.co.uk/products/ I've always noticed when I have been there they seem to have a 'stock' of Integras in one form of tune or another.
  14. Give him a straight road and it was bye, bye.... Give me some twisties, and I had time for a snack down the road and to get the camera out while he caught up after holding up the others on the trip More seriously, one location where the A45 was seriously quick was down the Trussocks and if it wasn't a public road I'd love to fully switch off the traction there to enjoy some oversteer, rally style . I thought the 350/370 were good there but A45's ability on those bends was mind blowing.
  15. Hi Rob - another reason it was a shame to miss this meet, and you, given I'm only 20 minutes away from Goodwood
  16. Wast Water ! I'll take the wheels rather than the bonus points, as they look so good
  17. Having found that thread I did find it strange why some Zeds did not have the feature (OK maybe the JDMs) but my first ZED was a 2004 UK one and it worked on that .....
  18. IIRC....... you hold the lock and unlock buttons down together for more than 2 5 seconds to change between just the driver's door opening at the first push or both doors opening with one push. Hope that's right as its over a year now since I had my last ZED Edit: see here http://www.350z-uk.c...__hl__unlocking which reveals the option does not seem to work on all Zeds.
  19. Have you tried altering the key setting to open both doors simutaneously? And then going back to your preferred setting?
  20. Quite a few A45's have got the 0-60 time down to around 3.5 secs but I'm happy enough with another second on top of that ....for now
