Make the most of the dream being in front Dave
-
I take the opportunity after washing/drying the car to take it for the spin to clear the excess water and discs and usually that will be via the nearest Tesco garage to top up with monmentum. Only use the 95 when locations (Scotland mainly) mean no higher rating is available - done that with all 3 ZEDs Graham - the Horsham Tesco's does not have that lip bashing issue, and at least its a decent part of the A24 from you to

I want to say, why not have him on your office desk, but guess I better give me a for having such a thought

Handbook says: FUEL RECOMMENDATION Use unleaded premium gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (Research octane number 96). If premium gasoline is not available, unleaded regular gasoline with an octane rating of 87 AKI number (Research octane number 91) may be temporarily used, but only under the following precautions: Have the fuel tank filled only partially with unleaded regular gasoline, and fill up with unleaded premium gasoline as soon as possible. Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration. However, for maximum vehicle performance, the use of unleaded premium gasoline is recommended. CAUTION Using a fuel other than that specified could adversely affect the emission control system, and may also affect the warranty coverage and Octane rating tips Using unleaded gasoline with an octane rating lower than recommended can cause persistent, heavy spark knock. (Spark knock is a metallic rapping noise.) If severe, this can lead to engine damage. If you detect a persistent heavy spark knock even when using gasoline of the above stated octane rating, or if you hear steady spark knock while holding a steady speed on level roads, have your dealer correct the condition. Failure to correct the condition is misuse of the vehicle, for which NISSAN is not responsible. Incorrect ignition timing will result in knocking, after-run or overheating. This in turn may cause excessive fuel consumption or damage to the engine. If any of the above symptoms are encountered, have your vehicle checked at a NISSAN dealer or other competent service facility. However, now and then you may notice light spark knock for a short time while accelerating or driving up hills. This is no cause for concern, because you get the greatest fuel benefit when there is light spark knock for a short time under heavy engine load. So using 95 regularly is not recommended but whether 1 octane lower than recommended is responsible for blown engines ............ That said, we are certainly hearing about more engine failures as mileages creep up

A clear sticky roundel on the dial in your line of sight to diffuse the light intensity...... Or grow a bit as at 6' 2" I don't have that problem but I could do with your height to see out the rear window properly

Looks very nice and I'm sure Linda and Sam will be very pleased to see their pride and joy looking so good and even better

Winter also works against Dealers/Traders in other ways as sales slow and promotions/targets/cash flow hit them. When I traded my last '56 ZED in December 2009 for the 370 (2 month old demo sat in the showroom with 68 miles on the clock) they gave me £15k for the 3 year old 350 (21k miles), which meant a residual of 50%. And with 3k off the new list price for the 370 at the time when they were sought after with little stock available -I struck lucky spotting the car I was really seeking the day it was advertised the salesman saying they need to shift it for new 4 x 4's Nissans they needed to get in the showroom for the winter. One of my better car deals

I rather like it

I usually get the comment, or you can see the look, "nice car your son has there" I can understand the comments younger people would get, from jealousy to being impressed. For me it was not until I starting working for myself some 10 years ago and mortgages/divorce/uni fees etc paid off which meant a decent car could be afforded - OK late on in life but hey, better late than never

I'm not so sure as the syncro rev certainly does work on upchanges and that is where the OP's issue lies so if it is switched on then maybe the problem does lie with the syncro match sensors, or what-have-you. If there is no difference between the syncro rev being off or on then it sounds like a box problem to me

Edited for accuracy. I'd duck now Stew But yes the college is a great idea when youngsters know what they want to do and far better than going off to Uni to get a degree and 3/4 yearts later still not knowing waht they really want to do
-
Yeah, and before one of the regulars says it I was just touring around to get that figure

I wouldn't risk damaging one of my bags!! I get what Liam is saying though - if she was the 'enthusiast' she'd be selling it herself I suppose Not all women are like you though - in the 20+ years June I have been together she has yet to put petrol in her car (or mine) and every car sale/purchase is done by ...............yes And she would get a if she put one of her handbags on my car, especially with some of the metal-work they have

"This is my wifes car and has owned it since 11/08. One previous owner local nissan dealer principle. UK 350z has full factory fitted NISMO body kit (very rare) , nismo stainless exhaust, nismo induction kit, 19" rays nismo alloys" What makes you think that, and given the first owner?

If it is still under warranty insist on the car being checked by one of Audi GB's fault finders, rather than the dealer's technicians. If it is out of warranty but you reported the problem to the dealer before expiry, they should still do that. I have no idea about the Audi mechanicals but I assume it is a 4 x 4 model - is one (or more) of the props out of balance maybe. I assume all the suspension bushes, engine/gearbox mounts have been thoroughly checked - something that is not always clear from a cursory inspection.

Yes - and not just grab handles as my passenger seat can testify

These guys at Chiwick might be able to sort you out - quite a few members have had work done there and very pleased: viewtopic.php?f=165&t=48460 Ask for Taras - owner of the wrapped white and orange 350 you see in the link

Says a lot about the safety measure in place these days. Mind you it tickled me at just around 1.20 on that vid when you hear the voice in pits saying to driver waiting to leave: " good to go, good to go". Now where I have heard that before

With Alan Jones as the race driver steward there was no way that 'incident' down to the first corner was going to result in a penalty. That said, it came very close to the example when Schui nearly put Rubens in the pit wall and got penalised ................ In my book moving over to block, but to leave a safe margin for a competitor is fine, but going that extra couple of feet so JB had no option but to take to the grass, and especially when SV moved back onto the racing line for the corner, is a bit dubious But for once the RB crew made one pit stop just long enough for JB to take the lead, so a fair result in the end and not wishing to take anything away from Seb's fully deserved championship

I can understand your personal motives for selling, but for anyone reading this news don't be put off - it is one of the best put together ZEDs around and a credit to previous owners and members on here Anubis and NismoDave : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23465&hilit=for+sale Whilst 'stripping' the car of the more desirable bits might make financial sense, there is still the cost, time and work of the replacement standard items, particularly if not already available? So that needs to factored in. A car like this that Chris has kept in the same tip top condition as Darren (previous owner) will become a sought after ZED in years to come IMO when 'ownership' of the added mods/work is perhaps not so necessary. I'm sure/hope there will be potential purchasers out there who will see that advantage. Maybe 10k may be too much, but that's what someone will spend to buy a standard and add the bits back to create a really distinctive and desirable ZED to 'make it their own'
