  1. Most sat-navs will provide the PS locations - thats what I use and try not to let the tank go below the fourth 'dot' on the 370 guage. That said, when I had the GT Edition the other weekend the range told me I had run out on the M25, but 20 miles later it was still running before a fill-up. Its reckoned you have 50 or so miles left after the the range says nothing - dependent on how heavy your right foot is of course and I have been known (but rarely) to feather it
  2. There you go Ken as we know you like your tea .......and gallons of it English invading party at the Boathouse oh, for those who want faces to usernames, going round clockwise: me; Graham(glrnet) and Joy; Will (will350z); Andrew(AK350z) and Fran; Darren (Darren-; June (my +1); Steph (Double Dee and Darren's +1) and last but not least Ken (Ken)
  3. The latest wheels looks so much better with the red brembos and black paintwork - credit to you for the work you put into making your ZED one of the most distinctive on the forum Better change that sig now, though
  4. Speak to Toby (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=8282) if this one of the three above ^^ is of interest to you viewtopic.php?f=9&t=55240&p=797074#p797074
  5. as the others say ^^^, but I trust the oil pressure drop simply reflects the engine revs dropping? If not, and aside from the clutch failure, get the oil pressure checked before using it further.
  6. Found the pics/info from July 2009 -and maybe the actual car viewtopic.php?f=9&t=25319&hilit=ireland
  7. Yeah, that was a good find - highly recommended to anyone visiting the area
  8. A load stuck around UK dealers for yonks, cos of the 313 being released, and probably sold for peanuts when they were eventually registered/shifted.
  9. It cannot be an HR engined 350 with that bonnet - period. A 2006 facelift ZED, registered in the UK in 2009 I would suggest. And the wheels suggest it is likely to be an import from Ireland, judging by what we have seen over the last 3 or so years
  10. Looks the business Just a shame so much has to be under the car, so that even with the tuck peeps won't be able to fully appreciate it all.
  11. Thank you young Jim Your wish is ...... viewtopic.php?f=70&t=54909&start=15
  12. And I had been waiting 5 minutes for you to appear Guess Joy was having 40 winks again
  13. You got it Chris remember here, just after The Dukes
  14. Last night night on BBC 4 - here on iplayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Trossachs/ Jump to 13.30 - shows where those on the way to the Hoon was going to stop for lunch at the Brig O'Turk (but closed ) and then onto the Dukes Pass - but he went the wrong way Nice Bentley he had to use though, at his snail's pace. I just love that Pass in the ZED with its 92 bends
  15. No - as Chris ^ says. When I was in a Nissan showroom a few weeks back and raised the issue the service manager pointed out several other Nissan models (and other makes they had in) in a variety of colours where the variations occur. But from what I and others who saw a number of the first batch of 370's in 2009 the white ones semed to be more noticeable.
  16. Excellent pics - must have one of those for the calendar, don't you think DoogyRev
  17. Maybe Sarnie can offer a defintive answer
  18. Good opportunity to hear an exhaust or two this Sunday viewtopic.php?f=93&t=54984 A24 outside is 70 limit as well And plenty of Christmas and wine shopping as a good excuse for the +1
  19. handbook says: "Installing the spare tire The spare tire is designed for emergency use. See specific instructions under the heading “Wheels and tires†in the “8. Maintenance and do-it-yourself†section. 1. Clean any mud or dirt from the surface between the wheel and hub. 2. Carefully put the wheel on and tighten the wheel nuts finger tight. When replacing a front tire, make sure the hole in the spare tire wheel is aligned with the pin on the brake rotor" The 'pin' (small bolt with metal sleeve) is pretty useless really and can be left off. However the thread it screws into provides a useful means of separating the disc from the hub when they need changing, by winding in a bolt
  20. If it is going off when it is windy and you say it is parked on a slope then I would also suspect its the tilt sensor - only needing just a small movement for it to activate. I was surprised it happened to me when the car was on a ferry crossing to Skye recently - sea was quite calm but the alarm was set off - 'cos I hadn't de-activated it. Not as though the car was likely to be hijacked mid-channel off a ferry So when you go to the dealer you ought to make your parking situation at home clear as otherwise I'm sure they will say their usual checks, on level ground, have not revealed any fault. Easy remedy. Level your drive
  21. Sills now painted They were taken off the car for the spray work. The depth of paint is clearly deeper than the original and seen against the rest of the bodywork is a much better match - not perfect but in my case on the outside the sills look a lot better from all angles. As was pointed out to me, they have sprayed to match the door/rear wing but that has meant in the door shut area it does look more 'creamier'. But then when you look at the last pic you can see a colour change on the rear wing where it turns the corner into the shut but with a different outcome Just letting the paint cure now before getting the sills fully clear wrapped to help prevent the stone chipping that finally led me to have the sills painted. And trying not to use the car (frustration smilie). Work carried out by Motor Care: http://www.motorcarebodyshop.co.uk/ourservices.html Nissan and most leading manufacturers approved bodyshop at Tunbridge Wells. Very helpful and can't fault their care of GUNS whilst in their care. Had to move this to get mine out of the customer waiting bay I offered to move it ..... But when it started up ...........died and went to heaven
  22. No problem - just put gold plating in like Mclaren do - job done (just the new 25 year mortgage to pay off for it) Colin that would be adding weight now wouldn't it Erm - not really matey, I cant imagine it being very thick Chris - weight is weight.... I always make sure of having a poo before getting in the car Yeah, wish you wouldn't keep doing that on the pavement
