  1. Very desirable - wouldn't mind betting there are not many more like it, if any
  2. Like that And very well explained with the pics
  3. You lot have been done - I've got a spacesaver in my 370 Its a 350 spacesaver - fits the well once the foam fill is removed and the Bose sub fits inside the wheel. Jack and handle added and I also carry the torque wrench (you can see in the pic) for peace of mind. Fronts need 20mm spacers for the 350 spacesaver to fit over the 370 calipers but straight fit on the rear but as I run with the spacers on - no issue for me there. Theoretically, if you got a front puncture you could put a rear wheel on the front (I have tried it and it works without fouling anything) and the then the spacesaver on the rear as an emergency get you home job but would not recommend it - carrying a spacer would be much better. Yeah, I know about the extra weight but like Lee I would rather have a wheel to get me home, than rely on the puncture being a tiny hole that the gel supplied might fix but then I gather is likely to render the tyre u/s even if the puncture could be repaired. Only reason the gel is still there is for when I come to sell the car, without the spacesaver most likely. The pump I find really good for the odd topping up, as invariably garage air machines are out of action
  4. If the car is otherwise good - i.e. no issues with MOT, surely a £2k motor (or less) will mean you can sell for well in excess of 5k which would seem to be a lot less hassle all round and less money lost compared to dismantling? Given Lee's offer - dare I say you get the car there for fitting........
  5. Congratulations to Seb - a very worthy champion. And a another great drive by Button to win the race. And as we said Dave, Hamilton needs his father back, or someone like him more than ever, to get his head in the right place - he is really beginning to look all ay sea. Hats off to Perez too - looks like JB has someone who can look after tyres even better than him - so vital it seemed today
  6. I expect he is probably jealous of you this month Sam But yes, another interesting build to look forward to seeing taking shape
  7. You must be hatching maggots for all those flies But made good use of them
  8. See GIXXERUK's post with the Nissan procedure and about it taking a few trys viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19019 Or there is a suggestion here, but whether that works....... http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_pr ... z1aBIi1frk
  9. They were my first potential source given previous reports but each time I checked they did not have the sizes I needed for the 370 in stock - so they lost out to mytyres who had then in stock. I couldn't fault mytyres in the order/delivery process and when you are spending near on £800 and they are just a few quid dearer than Camskills..........
  10. Welcome to the forum Think you might have just upset Hugh about his beloved babies (wheels). Never mind, he has sold them and the car for an AM, but I think he still lusts after a ZED really
  11. Did you have to sign any worksheet (and given a copy) when handing the car over - if so check the small print. Otherwise, if they have done work off their own backs I would say that is their problem. Possibly, sounds like they may have 'assumed' the warranty would cover things and Nissan had said no - but that would be a schoolboy error on their part.
  12. Is this unused example any use - you will see it has a rather exclusive code Has the separate ADSL and phone ports. Can post it to you today Stew
  13. have to admit - kept waking up last night - is that normal !! ?? Absolutely! Enjoy, but remember those tyres are still new
  14. Welcome to the forum As the car is still under warranty I would get yourself along to a decent Nissan dealer to sort the problem. Best to go to a HPC centre really If you post up whereabouts you are (or add it to your avatar) someone local can advise
  15. We do try to please. Oh, and don't worry about your music - with the Scorpion system on that is the best music you will ever want to hear
  16. Picking up from what glrnet said, perhaps the advice in this thread and that by ZMANALEX might help? viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23104&hilit=heater+core&start=0
  17. Just come across these: http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERS ... onMenu=YES http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERS ... onMenu=YES (Bearing in mind the US models are a year ahead of Europe) OK, from over the pond - but do the NAVTEQ updates apply to Europe as well?
  18. Might like to try this that has worked on 370's: 1. press start/stop button twice to put it in pre-ignition mode 2. wait a short duration for solid airbag light to go dark, indicating it will soon flash 3. instantly press start/stop to turn off completely before it has a chance to flash 4. wait 5 full seconds 5. repeat steps 1-4 6. repeat steps 1-4 7. press start/stop twice 8. let it run through for a while now, should be in diagnostic mode and blinking more slowly than usual 9. press start/stop to turn it off 10. wait 5 full seconds 11. turn on, and good to go
  19. Guide for the 350's - don't know if the same procedure applies to the 370 though http://my350z.com/forum/audio-video-and ... ypass.html

    370Z prices

and then: You only live once, and if the £163 is there to run 340bhp rather than an oil burner now, why settle for half measures in the meantime If I had been a position to that at your tender age and having been a petrolhead all my life, 340 horses would not be waiting to be fed

Then a 370 is not for you, especially if it is to became your daily driver and high mileage - the experience will be spoilt worrying about the fuel costs, outweighing the factor
