  1. No problem - just put gold plating in like Mclaren do - job done (just the new 25 year mortgage to pay off for it)
  2. Well if you don't like his 313bhp ZED, here's another little gem he has on offer R32 1.6 litre Golf http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ogcode=dsp
  3. If you post up some pics, that will help
  4. This thread might be of interest viewtopic.php?f=9&t=55095
  5. Dunno what the SMJ thingy is is but I'm sure it would be wortha or try R35LEE
  6. Am I the only one thinking that pic has been photo-shopped, looking at the angles of those vents relative to the bulge. And something strange going on with the rear wheel.
  7. Following every update with real interest and glad you have the garage rather the tent to work under with winter coming on
  8. There is your problem, IMO - the (worn) RE040's on the front - useless for decent grip - ideal for drifting and lighting up the dashboard. Get a matching pair of Falkens (hopefully the 452's) on there and it will be a different and planted car.
  9. Spot a couple of others here and a few other pics to lust over - (at the Pod Oct 2010 - timed runs rained off )
  10. If you have Michelin on th front (PS2's ?) they are a 'premium' tyre. I wouldn't mind betting the dealer has put budget (cheap) tyres on the rear. That is quite likely to be the issue, although as DoogyRev says the release agent on new tyres means they need a few hundred miles on them to offer their full grip potential. Post up the rest of the details about your tyres as per my thread above ^^^^ to help us give you better opinions.
  11. Best mod: The Stillen exhaust and the sound inside the car. Worst aspect: Not hearing it from the outside
  12. Are both windows fully closing when the doors are shut?
  13. First thing to do is the check your tyres - hopefully all 4 corners are the same type, the right size, decent tread depth, same pressures (35psi when cold). The ZEDs are very sensitive about their shoes If one or more of those are doubtful that is likely to be the problem, unless you are being so brutal on and off the throttle you are inducing excessive wheel spin
  14. Having now driven the latest spec (roadster and coupe), on the road its hard to tell any difference from the earlier 370's
  15. Cheers Colin - if you don't mind me asking - how much did you pay for fitting? You have a pm
  16. You already have my offer and without doubt TGM Sport at Fleet will sort you out fitting wise - pics from when I had the Stillen fitted there, aside from other quality work done there at reasonable prices viewtopic.php?f=103&t=31681&hilit=stillen
  17. Never driven a RX8 but the power band sounds rather like the S2000 which I did try prior to my first 350 purchase. I expect you will find the RX8/350 like chalk and cheese in the way the power is delivered - far more torque lower down the rev band and therefore easy to drive in traffic and without even flooring it you will see why we go around with these on our mugs
  18. Attak Z dosen't have a ZED and last I heard he had not moved the States Oh, and the rear of that 370 is not OEM Only ever seen one LE Mans blue 370 Roadster - at the Nissan Acdemy jaunt at Silverstone late in 2009 and well before their official launch and yes, the wheels on the roadster in my pics above are standard issue 19" Rays for the UK 370
  19. You mentioned a short term fix - this might be worth a go, and free if you are a shoe box hoarder viewtopic.php?f=9&t=42641&hilit=Bose+condensation&start=0
  20. Only on the cat Dave! I was wondering what you had in mind Dave
  21. If that dosen't end up in your part of the Lake District, I can see it going to another part (Sorry Liz )
  22. Why shims are needed: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-part ... -shims.htm
