  1. I found this interesting information for tackling edges and contours and thought I'd share.
  2. I'm with Zmanalex on this one. As it's a neighbour I'd use it an opportunity to build bridges rather than escalate things to a total nightmare. He either genuinely felt aggro regarding something he perceived you did, or is a genuine numpty. In case of scenario one I'd genuinely apologize for driving like a loon to try and win him over. In scenario two hopefully show him you're a genuinely nice guy to make him feel bad about future numptiness. Even maybe getting your missus to later mention to his missus how genuinely sorry you were so that she is in the loop and on side. But Any future numptiness and pull up the old footage to present to the relevant authorities and deny any apologies given saying the neighbour is just a loon!
  3. Welcome to Zed ownership. I might have to try the bonnet adjustment on mine too

The dishes on his rims were UNREAL! I used to see his zed at Lockwood and Greenwood amongst other zeds getting a service. Even me t him at a couple of meets YEARS AGO as he was one of the main organisers on here. Not sure what happened to him.

I'm going to say they look like Racing Hart rims as worn by "Mr Incredibles" Mike's Zed
  6. Welcome to the OC. How can you own an Ark exhaust and not pot a picture of the zed from behind too
  7. This is not a "back to black" type dressing but a PERMANENT like coating that will last years. The surface has to be prepared very clean but it's well worth it with none of the fading or patchy runs you get with dressings after just a few weeks.
  8. Welcome back. Lovely colour on that zed......very classy/premium and accentuates those curves. As for the mounts just treat them with Gtechniq C4. I've done mine and also the plastics on our 2006 mini and the trims look factory fresh FOR YEARS after
  9. Those headlights look badass and finish off the edgy look a treat
  10. I forgot to request that you leave the second sealant wipe to dry out after use to see if it crystallizes hard like a ceramic coating Oh well, I don't think it's of any real importance as it looks so good for such minimal effort that I wouldn't care much if it needed another wipe in 6 months. I've read of people going through all the sanding and then spraying a new lacquer clearcoat only to find that the clear didn't set smooth but cracked resulting in a mission sanding it all off again. These look pretty impossible to mess up. Thanks again for posting up real world results. Can never be sure that the YouTube demos were of genuinely hazed lights or just sprayed with sugar crystals to simulate haze
  11. Depends what YOU look like in a bikini top and hot pants I guess
  12. Jessica is very easy on the eye. Wearing a bikini top and shorts.......coz it's hot Their other lady in advertising is Dorothy..... mighty fine too
  13. I'm totally in favour of the satin black grille. One of the first things that I'd do too unless getting an aftermarket front end. Something just doesn't seem right with the OEM grille. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result
  14. If you are still unsure how to use the wipes I originally posted about. Type HEADLIGHT RESTORE WIPES JESSICA into YouTube. Jessica has a better information delivery presentation than the guy in post 1
  15. Welcome to the OC. Hope you enjoy both the zed and the OC.
  16. Welcome to the OC. Don't see many red zeds so will look forward to seeing what you both get up to.
  17. Looks the business I spent ages a year or so ago, masking, polishing, IPA and then a coat of Gtechniq C4 only for the yellow to start to creep back. Polished last week again before seeing these. Gonna see how regularly application of Optimum Optiseal goes. If it yellows again I'll try these wipes.
  18. Surely this can't be legit. Everything I've previously known involved sanding and polishing then a protective coating, or sanding and applying clearcoat. Even if the wipes only protect for 6 months, if it's that easy I'd be happy
  19. That's a fine motor Have you checked for the transport blocks yet? The number of owners who find them still left on beggers belief!
  20. As far as I know ALL zeds have alot of vibration transfer through the gearstick. Mine has from new, even when just pootling along. If in doubt, hook up with a local member to compare knobs
  21. At 4:12 you can see Conlonl's Veilside Zed representing the 350 in full effect I spent the whole afternoon explaining to the public that it indeed started off similar to my OEM orange zed parked alongside, and that it wasn't a new brand called "VS" but a Nissan
