  1. Welcome back. Lovely colour on that zed......very classy/premium and accentuates those curves. As for the mounts just treat them with Gtechniq C4. I've done mine and also the plastics on our 2006 mini and the trims look factory fresh FOR YEARS after
  2. Those headlights look badass and finish off the edgy look a treat
  3. I forgot to request that you leave the second sealant wipe to dry out after use to see if it crystallizes hard like a ceramic coating Oh well, I don't think it's of any real importance as it looks so good for such minimal effort that I wouldn't care much if it needed another wipe in 6 months. I've read of people going through all the sanding and then spraying a new lacquer clearcoat only to find that the clear didn't set smooth but cracked resulting in a mission sanding it all off again. These look pretty impossible to mess up. Thanks again for posting up real world results. Can never be sure that the YouTube demos were of genuinely hazed lights or just sprayed with sugar crystals to simulate haze
  4. Depends what YOU look like in a bikini top and hot pants I guess
  5. Looks very tasty!
  6. Jessica is very easy on the eye. Wearing a bikini top and shorts.......coz it's hot Their other lady in advertising is Dorothy..... mighty fine too
  7. I'm totally in favour of the satin black grille. One of the first things that I'd do too unless getting an aftermarket front end. Something just doesn't seem right with the OEM grille. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result
  8. If you are still unsure how to use the wipes I originally posted about. Type HEADLIGHT RESTORE WIPES JESSICA into YouTube. Jessica has a better information delivery presentation than the guy in post 1
  9. Welcome to the OC. Hope you enjoy both the zed and the OC.
  10. Welcome to the OC. Don't see many red zeds so will look forward to seeing what you both get up to.
  11. Looks the business I spent ages a year or so ago, masking, polishing, IPA and then a coat of Gtechniq C4 only for the yellow to start to creep back. Polished last week again before seeing these. Gonna see how regularly application of Optimum Optiseal goes. If it yellows again I'll try these wipes.
  12. Surely this can't be legit. Everything I've previously known involved sanding and polishing then a protective coating, or sanding and applying clearcoat. Even if the wipes only protect for 6 months, if it's that easy I'd be happy
  13. That's a fine motor Have you checked for the transport blocks yet? The number of owners who find them still left on beggers belief!
  14. As far as I know ALL zeds have alot of vibration transfer through the gearstick. Mine has from new, even when just pootling along. If in doubt, hook up with a local member to compare knobs
  15. At 4:12 you can see Conlonl's Veilside Zed representing the 350 in full effect I spent the whole afternoon explaining to the public that it indeed started off similar to my OEM orange zed parked alongside, and that it wasn't a new brand called "VS" but a Nissan
  16. Those sit perfect on your zed. Amazing how they transform the look of the car so much
  17. My car was dwarfed by Luke's Veilside offering at today's Supercars of the NW meet.
  18. As we were chatting about getting black paint better without a machine today at the Supercars NW meet I thought I'd post up a video of Soft99 Scratch Clear Wax used by me on a friend's car that drove into shrubs whilst avoiding a collision. All done by hand after just a wash, just rubbing the product into the paint with a microfiber cloth until almost clear and then a final buff. Left door untouched. Right door done.
  19. +1 thanks to Dillydot 82 and Spatt aka Kat and Matt for getting us together to this one. Weather was great. Cars were great. Weather was great (for once) And the company was fantastic.
  20. I used to think the Range Rover had road presence......but that Mustang looks like a beast. A friend of mine has a stage 3 tuned R35 as a weekend toy and just bought a new white Mustang convertible a few months back as his DAILY He's loving it too. So much so, the gtr is staying at home tomorrow and he's taking the Mustang to the Supercars NW meet instead!
  21. Don't forget clocks go forward tonight guys or you'll be at Subway an hour late
  22. I'll pop my Works Hydroshot portable pressure washer in my boot along with a spare battery. If circumstances permit at Subway or somewhere before we arrive, I could jet maybe a dozen sets of rims. If your rims have a fresh coat of wax/sealant, I'll be able to jet off any brake dust you accumulate en route with a touchless rinse. Only thing is I can't carry that much water in my boot So if you bring 2 X 2 litre bottles of water I'll gladly rinse your rims if there's a chance
  23. Interesting video. Thanks for sharing
  24. I'm sure I remember years ago there was a member who returned a set of LMGT4s and chose colour combinations that very closely resembled the OEM polished lips and centre sections but was some hyperchrome/hypersilver paint instead for durability. I have hunted for the thread in the past to no avail. I may even start a thread to see if anyone remembers, but all I remember is that they looked really good!
