  1. Never before have the words "Driving off into the sunset" seemed to be so fitting
  2. Is that it? Just one pic? Come on...... don't be shy. I thought I'd get more pics. Different angles. Interior. Close ups of wheels/calipers, tailpipes etc Congratulations on a nice new chariot, even though you were stingey on the photos
  3. Looking good. Just looked back at how the front end looked to begin with. Very ad-hoc in comparison with how it looks now. Mods are so classy and subtle. I reckon most parking wardens wouldn't know what to write on a parking ticket if you parked illegally. Would a parking ticket still be valid if all they wrote was "Make...... UNKNOWN....model..... UNKNOWN..... Colour....RED!"
  4. Pay no attention to hairdresser remarks. I think the TT is a great looking car. Dare I say I still love the original. Not many cars that I would love to leave standard looks wise. Doesn't need fancy spoilers or body kits.......the lines are perfect out of the box!
  5. Looking good there Wheels370z If mine go cloudy again, I'll be trying the wipes.
  6. Bank Holiday wash. Nothing special just a wash and 50:50 mix of Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer and Chemical Guys V07 detailer as a drying aid. Wheels and headlights got a coat of Optimum Optiseal. AG instant tyre dressing. ............not forgetting my sunscreen to protect the interior
  7. That bonnet looks like a lake of reflections The paintwork must feel like smooth silk after all that care and attention I still love the 18 inch Touring alloys. I've had a set in my garage for 11yrs and haven't had the heart to sell them.
  8. Not sure why I've never read this thread before but it looks like your zed has found an enthusiastic owner. Thanks for sharing and keep on posting
  9. Good man......like a man who keeps his word especially when it means we get to see pics of shiny bits
  10. Welcome to the OC. Will be checking up to see if you post up pics this weekend
  11. Welcome to the OC Really feeling yellow cars now that the summer sun has arrived
  12. Welcome to the OC. The Nismo is one beautiful machine. Enjoy the car and the forum
  13. Must be easy finding your car in a busy car park........glows like a beacon
  14. So, back in February the seat on my 13 yr old daily looked worn so I spent a couple of quid on leather repair paint and got to work. Today I thought I'd post up a pic showing how the paint repair is holding up 3 months later A quick reminder of before^ So it's holding up pretty well considering I use my zed daily.
  15. I love the reflections in the 2nd and the last photo.
  16. Welcome to the OC. Wow......a 3 fold increase in insurance! But saying that, back in 90s I paid £1k on a 1 litre 1982 vw Polo at the age of 26 as it was my first car.
  17. Welcome to the OC. I love the angles of the zed that you captured in the last photo. All the best angles caught nicely there
  18. Cars and house are looking amazing. The blue looks so different in different lighting conditions.
  19. https://www.amazon.co.uk/WINOMO-Polishing-Sponge-Buffing-Adapter/dp/B071LFWJ3Y Bought from here.
  20. L Got these for £6 from Amazon. Used them today on my headlights. Picked the stiffest orange pad, stuck it on the cordless drill with the attachments supplied. Used some medium cut Menzera polish. Didn't tape up for a 50:50 as it was getting dark and I needed to press on but you can see where the haze is untouched on the right side The 3 inch pads are easy to use for a small job like this. The cordless drill isn't that fast so the pad is easy to control and doesn't run away. A pro machine and pads would probably be faster and better......but hey..... IT'S SIX QUID If I had a choice of this or hand power I'd forgoe a large kebab one day and get this bought In fact I mayy even use the really soft black pad to apply pre wax cleaner like SRP to the zed (apart from inaccessible areas like roof etc coz I'm only short!
  21. Welcome to the OC. Happy zed hunting. You do know it is MANDATORY to post up pics once you get your zed
  22. It's a version 1 Nismo body kit comprising of a wing, side skirts, rear spats which attach to the bottom side of the rear bumper and a Nismo bumper. You can purchase an aftermarket front lip which will give you a very similar looking front for much less money, and there are plenty of different kits out there Tarmacsportz are a trusted source of such parts. https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?cat=44&q=350z+sidesteps
  23. Welcome to the OC. Those wheels are the optional 18 inch forged lightweight Rays wheels. Probably one of the lightest and strongest wheels to have. They were an EXTRA £1000 if you ticked them on ordering the car new. For handling and keeping unsprung weight down they are pretty much the rims to have. 19 inch rims look the business but do add alot of weight, even if you go for the forged Nismo LMGT4 rims also made by Rays. Then there's also the increased cost of tyres for the 19 inch rims. Here's a pic of mine on standard suspension but with the 19 inch rims on which fill the arches perfectly imho. Very hard to obtain these wheels even 2nd hand now, but Rota do a very similar design for a reasonable price.
  24. Your zed must attract crazy attention everywhere you go! Hard to imagine how much else you could do to improve it once the spoiler is done as it looks pretty much perfect
  25. Wow...... that's alot of stereo for £250! I remember in the 90s paying similar for just a radio and cassette head unit
