I've never done proper correction, only using my orbital polisher with finishing pads to apply glazes or SRP to the zeds rear to fill swirls where my hand marks the paint on opening the boot. I'm with Zmanalex on this one. As it's a neighbour I'd use it an opportunity to build bridges rather than escalate things to a total nightmare. He either genuinely felt aggro regarding something he perceived you did, or is a genuine numpty. In case of scenario one I'd genuinely apologize for driving like a loon to try and win him over. In scenario two hopefully show him you're a genuinely nice guy to make him feel bad about future numptiness. Even maybe getting your missus to later mention to his missus how genuinely sorry you were so that she is in the loop and on side. But Any future numptiness and pull up the old footage to present to the relevant authorities and deny any apologies given saying the neighbour is just a loon!

The dishes on his rims were UNREAL! I used to see his zed at Lockwood and Greenwood amongst other zeds getting a service. Even me t him at a couple of meets YEARS AGO as he was one of the main organisers on here. Not sure what happened to him.

This is not a "back to black" type dressing but a PERMANENT like coating that will last years. The surface has to be prepared very clean but it's well worth it with none of the fading or patchy runs you get with dressings after just a few weeks.

Welcome back. Lovely colour on that zed......very classy/premium and accentuates those curves. As for the mounts just treat them with Gtechniq C4. I've done mine and also the plastics on our 2006 mini and the trims look factory fresh FOR YEARS after

I forgot to request that you leave the second sealant wipe to dry out after use to see if it crystallizes hard like a ceramic coating Oh well, I don't think it's of any real importance as it looks so good for such minimal effort that I wouldn't care much if it needed another wipe in 6 months. I've read of people going through all the sanding and then spraying a new lacquer clearcoat only to find that the clear didn't set smooth but cracked resulting in a mission sanding it all off again. These look pretty impossible to mess up. Thanks again for posting up real world results. Can never be sure that the YouTube demos were of genuinely hazed lights or just sprayed with sugar crystals to simulate haze

I'm totally in favour of the satin black grille. One of the first things that I'd do too unless getting an aftermarket front end. Something just doesn't seem right with the OEM grille. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result
