  1. Hi and welcome to the OC. When looking at the Nissan service sheet you will see that for the Zed there is ZERO difference between a P2 and P3. So at 10 yrs it's the same ol same ol P1/P2/P1/P2 etc Just add coolant and brake fluid changes every couple of years, sparks every 5 yrs as mentioned in the service book as additional items. Although the service manual doesn't mention a time scale for gear box and diff oil changes I would change these out at 10 yrs unless proof of it being recently done.
  2. Sounds like a gem of a find. I'm looking forward to pics on arrival.
  3. Welcome to the OC. As mentioned its probably the AC Turn it off and no more condensed water will be drained to beneath the car. You'll just end up with foggy windows instead Don't worry though, all zed's tend to suffer from poor ventilation so once you know it's just the AC you can use it to demist your interior when needed Ps. Don't forget to use AC now and again even in winter to prevent the AC pipes drying out and cracking!
  4. On a Zed there is no difference between a P2 & P3 at a Nissan dealership......bar the price! Assuming you take it to an Independent just follow the advice given already. Also check the inner brake pads. Often the outers have plenty meat on giving the false security all is well. If you let the pads wear too low inside you'll be wrecking the discs ie added expenses.
  5. I got one last week. I reckon you'd need at least 2 as with one on the dash the rear is still foggy.
  6. Looking good there
  7. Certainly suit the silver. CONGRATULATIONS
  8. Costco sale starts again on 2/11/15 0w30 available for the same price
  9. PS. Maybe he has lost the form so get a new copy printed off too
  10. When I have to sign such forms for my patients, once I have identified what kind of form it is the patient is told what the charge is and normally told to return in a day or two NOT 6 WEEKS! Any form which only requires 15 mins or so of my time should not take this long. At the very least this GP should feel a little embarrassed by the whole situation. As mentioned above, inform the practice manager and GP of the situation and that it is imperitive the form is completed ASAP. Find out when the GP finishes on your chosen day. Forward them of your visit. Go a bit early and collect in person. Stay calm and play the damsel in distress card. The sympathy card works better than the threatening one. If the GP is still not sympathetic they obviously are lacking in any compassion and wouldn't respond to threatening behavior any faster. Hope it all goes well.

    Welcome back.
  12. Groove direction on discs?
  13. From the spinoff of friends where Joey gives his nephew advice on dating "If you're a 7 you can go out with another 7 or lower. You could even go with a 3 AND a 4.........or even seven 1s.....but I wouldn't recommend the last one!"
  14. I just bought this AA branded one from Amazon http://www.amazon.co...battery charger £27.99 seemed like a reasonable price for an intelligent charger that would switch to trickle charge when full. From the reviews the only real is it's a bit slow/inefficient at recharging a totally flat battery. Hooked it up to the 4 yr old Kia Shortage. This gets used for a couple of 1hr round trips every weekend but still took 24hrs before the charger registered it as fully topped up. Primarily bought to top up a Mini and the Kia as these aren't used daily look the Zed is.
  15. .......I'm off to see how much I can get a set of JKtyres for on Oponeo!
  16. I don't know what is worse. The finished car or the fact my brother said "it looks alright?"Maybe I should dissown him
  17. My 19 inch LMGT4s have 245/35 up front and 275/35 on the rears. I'm pretty sure this is standard for zeds as I've never seen anyone else mention otherwise.
  18. I'm number 5 and still here
  19. Welcome to the OC. Nice Clk too. I haven't seen many in white let alone kitted up
  20. A zed always gets a vote from me. Good luck.
  21. I expect that deters the food source...... Anyone use security cameras through windows with success rather than mounting them outside? http://vid272.photob...10_04_12_39.mp4 This is some footage from my Motorola focus 85 sited in the hall looking out the front. Unwanted visitors arrive at 0:12sec http://vid272.photob...1017_020923.mp4 This is footage at night. Note I have metal halide lights lighting the front garden so its not pitch black Not the best quality but works for me. Has pan and tilt, sound, mic and temp sensors. I pay £2.50/month for cloud storage of activated video bursts of a couple of mins. IR lamps don't reflect too bad as long as not facing head onto the window
  22. Welcome along. Easiest way to get pics up is to open a photobucket account. Choose a pic. Press share. Press links. Then copy and paste the IMG code straight into your post
  23. My first time using a glaze. This is supposedly polymer based and oil free to enable better compatability for topping up with a sealant wax for longevity. It's the pillar of a 9yr old Mini. Despite careful wash technique from new, 9 yrs has left fine swirls. Used the Prima Amigo by hand with a MF pad. Just 2 gentle hits. Not heavy handed like trying to correct defects. I am happy with the results and topped it with Gtechniq C2v3.
  24. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=369091 This is a link to my 4 yr test showing how the GTECHNIQ C4 trim restorer/protector is still going strong on my wife's Mini. With so much trim iwas fed up of products lasting a couple of months if not weeks.
  25. I'll 2nd that. Mine yellowed after just 1year and that was using a TURTLEWAX kit that included a top coat sealer! This time I sealed with Gtechniq C4. Will see how long that lasts. But as I use their C2v3 sealant on the body every few months I'll top the headlights up with this at the same time too.
