  1. Sorry I can't help about deactivating the airbags but there's always the Nissan Skyline 350GT if you want a 4 seated zed. http://www.9tro.com/features/tuned-cars/nissan-skyline-v35-350gt-infiniti-g35
  2. Welcome back. PS. We never tire of pics of zeds so post up some photos of your newly acquired chariot when you have time
  3. Mmmm......shiney lips. I bet your eyes can't help gazing at your rims when you park up
  4. A big thank you to veef 13. I ordered 3 sets of mats for our cars. Arrived promptly from valuecarmats.com Fit is perfect. Where the OEM mats have retaining holes so do these. Where the OEMs have velcro retainers like in my Mini the new ones do too. Slightly thinner than the originals but only just. The backing is similar to the OEM zed mats, not the foam rubbish that came with my original Mini and Kia mats. The foam stuff is not nearly as hard wearing. I was only charged one p&p charge for the 3 sets and woth the discount code it was about £9.99 a set DELIVERED!
  5. I have a friend who runs a Nissan Leaf for his Mon to Fri commute from Warrington to Manchester. Only thing is It's almost at the limit of its range so he drives with heaters off during winter But at the weekend he runs a lovely R35! He absolutely loves his leaf too as that commute would be too much for him to justify in his GTR.
  6. Bose often give a 30 day money back trial. For travelling on planes and the underground I found them hard to beat for noise cancellation. I have the QC3. Had them so long I'm on my 2nd set of replacement earpads........we like serviceable parts  Me and a mate tested them against builders ear defenders while using an SDS drill on a wall and the Bose kept more noise out
  7. My wife has a 2006 R50 Mini Cooper with a rotting back box. Had it from new and looking to keep it long term. Option 1 is for an OEM one from BMW.........probably the least economical. Option 2 is a Cobra system........probably too loud/droney for mum to do the school run in Option 3 is a custom made one made deliberately quiet. For custom systems it seems Topgear In Stockport are my local long life exhaust fitters. Anyone had any dealings with these guys?
  8. The guy who plays Vin Diesel could be his brother from another mother
  9. Thanks for the heads up and the discount code! Just ordered a set for the Zed, a BMW Mini and a Kia Sportage. £29.99 for all 3 cars delivered is a bargain. I will report back on receiving them

  14. A video for those with and without kids
  15. When I go to my local Chinese restaurant/cash n carry I always feel wary when ordering dishes from the FOOKIEN Provence. Famous for their fried rice and fried noodles. "Waiter......I'd like to order some FOOKIEN fried rice and some FOOKIEN fried noodles!" Then I go downstairs to their supermarket and often buy some cookies by the CHING KEE COOKIE ROLL company
  16. I know a Chinese guy with the ultimate name. Fâ‚©K YU!! I kid you not. Can you imagine being pulled by the old bill. "Your name sir?" Fâ‚©K YU officer"
  17. Take a look at this for a good prewash http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95018-powermaxed-products-for-touch-less-wash/
  18. A friend of mine has been testing their products. His latest test has been with their ph neutral PRESSURE WASH AND WAX concentrate. Here's a vid of it being pressure washed off after being sprayed on and left to dwell for a few minutes For those interested here's a more detailed thread http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=356103
  19. Glad the sale went well and you're still alive Also good to hear it will be lovingly restored by its new owner.
  20. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2952483/Mechanics-took-car-118mph-joyride-Motorist-sporty-Ford-Focus-service-horrified-dashcam-footage-got-back.html Guy gets his Focus St back with damning dashcam evidence after!
  21. Well you could have given me a "like" then... I thought as it was nearly Valentine's day a public show of affection was more fitting :b
  22. Love the dear joke:lol:
  23. I'm sure this is an exception to the rule. Zed owners are normally more friendly than most and I've always got waves back. I suppose you found one of the odd ones out who knows not of zed comradary. Who knows.....there may be a "Nike Air Max" forum with someone posting "I waved and gave a thumbs up to a bloke pointing at his Nikeeees and he gave me a wierd look!" Don't lose faith......keep waving:thumbs:
  24. Thanks for the replies. I live 5 mins walk from the estate agents and a few solicitors on the high street. I have phoned the agent asking which of the local ones they'd recommend. Hopefully I won't need to constantly pop in to move them along. When they ring on Monday I'll see if there are any bad reviews of the ones they suggest.
  25. When buying a house and getting a mortgage, I believe the banks require you to pay for a solicitor to act on their behalf as well as me needing to pay for one to act on my behalf. Is there any disadvantage in going for the option whereby I go with the bank's appointed solicitors to represent both me and my bank? Logistically I can see the advantage especially as I have no solicitor I know/trust in particular.
