  1. Heart Touching Commercial - My dad's story: Dream for My Child | MetLife: http://youtu.be/Z8o7D1udsGg Try this link
  2. I actually found it affected me more when I watched it the second time with my wife!
  3. When I go to my local Chinese restaurant/cash n carry I always feel wary when ordering dishes from the FOOKIEN Provence. Famous for their fried rice and fried noodles. "Waiter......I'd like to order some FOOKIEN fried rice and some FOOKIEN fried noodles!" Then I go downstairs to their supermarket and often buy some cookies by the CHING KEE COOKIE ROLL company
  4. I know a Chinese guy with the ultimate name. Fâ‚©K YU!! I kid you not. Can you imagine being pulled by the old bill. "Your name sir?" Fâ‚©K YU officer"
  5. Take a look at this for a good prewash http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95018-powermaxed-products-for-touch-less-wash/
  6. A friend of mine has been testing their products. His latest test has been with their ph neutral PRESSURE WASH AND WAX concentrate. Here's a vid of it being pressure washed off after being sprayed on and left to dwell for a few minutes For those interested here's a more detailed thread http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=356103
  7. Glad the sale went well and you're still alive Also good to hear it will be lovingly restored by its new owner.
  8. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2952483/Mechanics-took-car-118mph-joyride-Motorist-sporty-Ford-Focus-service-horrified-dashcam-footage-got-back.html Guy gets his Focus St back with damning dashcam evidence after!
  9. Well you could have given me a "like" then... I thought as it was nearly Valentine's day a public show of affection was more fitting :b
  10. I'm sure this is an exception to the rule. Zed owners are normally more friendly than most and I've always got waves back. I suppose you found one of the odd ones out who knows not of zed comradary. Who knows.....there may be a "Nike Air Max" forum with someone posting "I waved and gave a thumbs up to a bloke pointing at his Nikeeees and he gave me a wierd look!" Don't lose faith......keep waving:thumbs:
  11. Thanks for the replies. I live 5 mins walk from the estate agents and a few solicitors on the high street. I have phoned the agent asking which of the local ones they'd recommend. Hopefully I won't need to constantly pop in to move them along. When they ring on Monday I'll see if there are any bad reviews of the ones they suggest.
  12. When buying a house and getting a mortgage, I believe the banks require you to pay for a solicitor to act on their behalf as well as me needing to pay for one to act on my behalf. Is there any disadvantage in going for the option whereby I go with the bank's appointed solicitors to represent both me and my bank? Logistically I can see the advantage especially as I have no solicitor I know/trust in particular.
  13. Sorry to hear about your father. I'm glad to hear you're able to go see him even though it's only for a few weeks. 6 years ago I got a call saying my dad had bowel cancer which had spread from his bowels into the surrounding lymph nodes. He was living in Malaysia at the time. I booked the flight ASAP. The week waiting for my flight I was an emotional wreck. Tried staying strong when on the phone to dad and family but got so upset one night I rang the Macmillan cancer support group just to talk. Only lasted 10 seconds on the phone before I broke down in tears balling like a kid. Thankfully dad recovered. Don't forget to take care of YOURSELF TOO Chris. Don't try and carry the weight of the world on your shoulders yourself and talk to your friends and family when you need to. Wishing you all the best. Andy
  14. I've only just looked at the images of the interior. O....MY.....GOD. The vinyl retrim is soooo bad it looks like someone has just layed a deflated bouncy castle on the dash. Absolutely filthy inside too. I'd be embarrassed to let a garage see my interior in such a state at service time let alone post up such images on the web in a for sale thread!
  15. Sorry I can't answer your question as you sound like a very polite chap. In all my years on here no other newbie has had the generosity to offer a "potatoe" with a post. Maybe we should make it a new forum rule for all newbies asking questions to make similar worthy offerings
  16. You guys are way too harsh. My son loves building project cars with a passion. Showed it to him and he loves it........truly inspired. When he wakes up he's going to try and start a similar project. ........OUT OF DUPLO DOWN AT THE CRÈCHE with the other 3 yr olds
  17. I wonder if the petrol station attendant got into any trouble posting the video. Or maybe this doesn't come under privacy issues. GLAD HE DID THOUGH
  18. Watch "Who keeps moving the filler cap...?" on YouTube Who keeps moving the filler cap...?:
  19. As per title really. I know about recommended timescales for replacing simpler items like plugs and fluids, but is there a recommended time for replacing/servicing airbags due to them having an "expiery date"? My zed will be 10 years old this August so was just wondering .
  20. Oooooo.........VF1 does it for me
  21. The wife's car doesn't get washed as regular as the zed and so ends up much more dirty. If I wash it when it's dry it needs 3-4 times more gentle passes with the shampoo mitt than the zed. I now look out for times when it's just stopped raining and it's still wet. Like you said it washes soooo much easier. it's like the rain gave it a good 10 hour pre-soak.
  22. https://cornerbalance.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/diy-350zg35-brake-lights-dont-work-aka-the-easiest-install-youll-ever-do/ I had the exact same problem. Check out the switch behind the brake pedal. You may be lucky and it just came loose when vacuuming around the mats there in which case just undo and re tightened. Takes minutes to fix
