In my 43 yrs of existence my only formal religious practice consisted solely of prayers and hymns at primary school assembly. My brother has married a practicing catholic who has sparked more of an interest in religion in me. Furthermore I have a few few close friends who are practicing Muslims. Having talked at length with many people I am torn between 2 basic religious concepts. On the one hand I find it amazing how that in the whole universe as we know it our planet is the only one that supports life.....and not just pond life (amoebas and twocas alike ) but us humans. Part of me truly finds it hard to believe this is purely by CHANCE and "creation" was an "accident" or random event that resulted in billions of stars and rocks and ONE planet supporting us people. On the other hand I find it hard to believe that such a creator as god would take such an interest in each individuals lives and entrust his message to such a relative few prophets to be spread to all. As a medical professional I find how the body works and heals amazing. From a microscopic level to the fine balance of our ecosystem its kind of mind blowing. So I suppose I'm kinda on the fence at the moment. Do I believe in creation by chance........maybe not. Do I believe in a possible higher power beyond my comprehension behind our existence here rather than a random big bang that resulted in our tiny spec in the universe being just right for life to be created.......quite possibly. Am I convinced that any one of the prophets were truly gifted with revelations from god......not with my limited knowledge and logical/scientific head on. I should really study all of the holy scriptures at some point to make a more educated comment/decision. SO AM I AN ATHEIST?

I'm off to buy a few of these now for my zed and our mini so thought I'd just bump this thread in case anyone missed it.

Anyone ever fitted a dab stereo and ariel?
HEADPHONES replied to mikey2130's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
I have a JVC DAB single din unit. The aerial is a adhesive windscreen wire one. Reception is better the more vertical the aerial. Mine is installed alongside the A pillar. Still very discrete. -
Why do women's solutions to man problems always involve cutting their bits off ?
-
This proves my point that women are inherently MORE violent than men. Prime example is when the subject of partners cheating crops up. You'll often hear threats from women to "chop off his weaner" I've NEVER heard blokes mention chopping off women's bits! This is probably why god created men stronger than women....to give us blokes a fighting chance of surviving

In 2008 a group of lads broke in to my house. I assume they were after my zed. I was on holiday and got a call from my alarm monitoring company. "Sir...the front door sensor has gone off and the hall and the dining room and...." I was gutted. Luckily it's linked to the police and the alarm rings INSIDE the house not outside and is painfully loud. Being a paranoid freak the keys and other essentials were hidden. Still, was a nervous wreck until a friend went over and said cars still there. It was only 9pm at the time and they just booted the front door til the frame caved in. Going by the bootprints left it took a good 7 kicks! A neighbour shouted as they gained entry and said they just carried on and were in and out in minutes. Probably hoping the keys were on the sideboard or dining table.

Just a heads up. Costco oil sale is back. From 3/11 to 23/11 a 4 litre size of Castrol Edge 5w30 is only £25.90 incl vat If your other cars have different requirements there is also Edge 0w30 and 5w40 for the same price.

Met my missus at 19. Rented a flat together from 21. Married at 22 while I was a student and missus started working. Now 43 with a 6yr old and a 3yr old. Initially we split everything 50:50. Once my career was established when I was 26 I started earning more than the wife and stepped up and paid everything bill wise. Separate accounts with the missus only paying for her personal expenses. Gradually wife worked less as my income was adequate. Still no joint account and just gave her a credit card for her needs and we keep a cash float at home that I keep topped up. She buys whatever she wants/needs but never extravagant without prior consultation. Basically, different arrangements for different circumstances and these can change and evolve as life changes.

Welcome aboard. As has been said earlier your problems don't sound serious. The clicky axle and rusted flange between back box and mid pipe are such common problems they can almost be considered "part of the zed experience" The flange can be welded for around £60 or you can use it as an excuse for a new stainless system. Sometimes a re grease of the CV joints will cure the click but if the warranty will shell out for new joints all the better. Don't let these points put you off the car. Happy zedding

Drivers Side Rear Wheel Ticking Under Light Breaking
HEADPHONES replied to ZZZ_2306's topic in 370z General
My mate had a ticking under braking from one wheel and he found out that he hadn't tightened the nuts properly after getting it refurbished -
I hope the Lambo driver with the taser takes a good long hard look at his actions on the video....... Giving him time to reflect and see the error of his ways ..... so he can carry TWO tasers in future in case there are more than one perp to deal with

Have Scorpion shown any intention on doing OEM looking rolled tailpipe tips as well as their slashed cut ones?

6 years ago when my daughter was born we had my wife's R50 mini as our family car and I kept the zed. It's only when our 2nd kid arrived 3 yrs later that we outgrew the mini. There are quite a few prams that fit in the mini boot with the passenger floor and seat available for shopping and bags. For the odd occasion when it wasn't enough space for a big shop we'd take both cars but this was quite rare. Now I've 2 kids we bought a suv and I've kept the mini as a 3rd car. It's an 06 Cooper so not worth much to trade in. Couple hundred quid to tax. Now with 2yrs no claims as a 3rd car £250 to insure. Has been cheap to service. So for me is well worth keeping in order to have my zed and a 2nd baby carrier. My kids are now old enough to sit in the zed in front facing seats and both love it.

Seems like a lot of hiphop fans here and nice to see you all giving props to the UK artists too. My wife reckons all hiphop makes me ANGRY

Ooops....wrong track. Meant to recommend BATTLE RIDDIM by Tempa T. NEXT HYPE comes a close second I challenge any martial artist (to watch the vid and not want to go punch something)
-
Tempa T Next hype. My all time favourite track before sparring/fighting. The anime vid made by AMV to this tune just adds that extra "punch to the jaw!"

Maybe its an effort prevent people parking too close and causing door dings.

Handbrake light and traction control light coming on?
HEADPHONES replied to Kerry's topic in 350Z Technical
I had a similar problem a few months ago. After a few minutes driving I would dab the brakes and the following lights would stay on the dash ABS ESP TRACTION CONTROL. When someone checked the rear for me we noticed the brake lights came on very very faintly and the third brake light not at all. Others on the forum then pointed me to the brake light switch behind the brake pedal. If you are lucky it may have just come loose and need tightening otherwise a new switch is a 5 min job to fit. http://cornerbalance.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/diy-350zg35-brake-lights-dont-work-aka-the-easiest-install-youll-ever-do/ -

I was at a service station petrol station. A dodgy couple asked for a lift. Was never gonna say yes but politely replied "sorry......but no space for you inside" Looking p!$$ed off the bloke peers through the window and then giggled to his partner "f@ck me luv......he's only got 2 seats in there" He waved me off smiling

I can't help with the back box but as for dents in the door/parking dings I highly recommend www.dent-specialists.co.uk They are based in Bolton but will come to north and central Manchester. I'm based in South Manchester and it only took me 25 mins to drive to their Saturday drop in clinic in Bolton. If you go to them in Bolton you'll get a much better price. They advertise £40 per ding but did 4 dings in my door for £50! The discount is better if there are multiple dings on the same panel. Call Paul Martin there on 07779660345 and tell him the Chinese guy with the orange Zed recommend you

I have a golden rule. Never trust anyone who doesn't have a phone OR A TELLY They are either scammers or wierdos!

Ooops....... Just viewed the attached image. The dents-specialists only do dints/dings.......sorry mate
