  1. I have driven behind/alongside a few of these and admired their looks.......apart from the front. Even with the older G35s, I love the ones with aftermarket front ends but the designer of the original nose must have been related to Mr Blobby. I mean, it's still got the same kinda grill and bumper as the old G. I'm all for "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but come on.......THE FRONT IS TOO BLOBBY :b
  2. Followed you for a good few miles today in my sunset about 1pm.
  3. Getting a P2 service today at 36k miles. Looking at the service book it showed "additional service items" included brake fluid change every 2 yrs and change fuel filter at 36k. Today the teccy at the garage said the fuel filter isn't the easily replacable cartridge type but lo ares deep in the fuel tank. They seemed to think it should be "OK" to leave the replacement. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS/EXPERIENCE?
  4. If you didn't want to do a full wash and had just light dust etc I may even consider that idealworld favourite...SHOWROOM SHINE http://www.idealworld.tv/Greased%20Lightning%202x1L%20Showroom%20Shine%20Waterless%20Wash%20and%20Wax%20Cleaner_275080.aspx?showVideo=1
  5. Just a little heads up. Pop into your local Tesco petrol station shop. Many of them are doing WonderWheels HOTWHEELS alloy cleaner spray. It's ph neutral, works like IronX........but is on offer for £1.75! Normally £10. Detailingworld reviews say it is almost as good as IronX at a 20th the cost.
  6. One sunny day I gave the car a full detail, put on my new swish valve caps on and went to Blackpool for the day. Came back and they're all gone:-( On the wheel arch above each wheel was a kiddy sized palm print of the perp! Peskye kids......grrrrrr.
  7. Are we talking about the reg plate or the "middle finger" sign
  8. Looks like it's gonna be a grrrrreat summer for you........enjoy the new ZED and welcome aboard.
  9. Firsty CONGRATULATIONS! Secondly, this WAS reality for me with my 2 sprogs til I got me an 18v dustbuster.......a necessity for house and car with my 2 "angels"
  10. Nice job.........next you could replace the plate with a sign to give numpty drivers the middle finger . They'd take a second look and sign would have disappeared
  11. Apology 1.......vid quality is crap. Apology 2......for some reason the forum won't let me start a new line/paragraph SO EVERYTHING IS ONE LONG SENTANCE
  12. Used a Silverline random orbital sander, menzerna polishing pad and SRP. Took about 5-10 mins each side. Worked until SRP went clear and needed a good 6 to 7 hits as SRP doesn't have much cut.
  13. Another tip is to wet and wring the MF towel before use as it works better damp than bone dry.
  14. Guy reminded me of my 2 yr old trying to blow the candles out on his birthday cake
  15. Replaced mine last year due to cracking appearing. Only 35k on the clock but zed is an 05 plate.
  16. With the arrival of sprog number 2 our mini cooper didn't cut it as our FAMILY car. Liked the old Kuga but it was too small. Ended up with a Kia SPORTAGE. Easy to drive and much nicer than the Kuga for space and looks.
  17. At my local Tesco Express and saw a bog standard UK supra. Neglected cream interior looked nasty. Curbed corroded standard alloys looked criminal. Black paint was dull, almost grey looking. I've only ever seen one worse Supra, and that was in "THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS" on the back of the trailer before it was transformed into the orange beast. I suppose to some people a car is just for driving. Here's hoping it either belongs to a car nut who drives it to the max keeping her mechanicaly sound but couldn't care less about the looks. Or ends up getting sold to someone who restores it saving it from a scrappy graveyard.
  18. Never driven or even sat in any of these, but..... Chrysler 300c. Just seems to have such presence without needing "badge prestige" to achieve it. Original Lexus IS200 To this day I still reckon they look smart inside and out. New Corsa VXR Best looking VXR from Vauxhall IMHO (excluding the Monaro, but I don't think that counts as a regular Vauxhall) Diahatsu Copen My pic of the quirky sporty numbers. I like it even though I'd never want one Deliberately didn't put obvious likable sports models as the list would be endless!
  19. Damn......that's some freaky find! Be even madder if you found a roasted bird and a couple of boiled eggs in there Look on the bright side. Bit of sugar......boil that sh$t up for A few hours......hey Presto! BIRDS NEST SOUP Highly prized Chinese delicacy
  20. Damn.......the Bose sub doesn't look like a speaker at all. Is that due to revolutionary Bose engineering or coz it's just SH$TE?
  21. Its people like you posting up pics that make me question ordering mine in sunset orange But then again i lurv the orange too :b Nice job anyway
  22. I found that some companies were not ok with a bodykit and wheels until i told them they were factory fit options. So you may find the extra loading a bit less than aftermarket mods

    LMGT4 Refurb

Sticking over the top is perfectly fine, I still have the original set on my LMGT4's which are a good few years old, if not longer. +1 Mine are 6yrs old and washed and sealed regularly Stickers still look as good as new!
  24. Hey LeightonJames. Your Sunset is truly glowing in the 2nd and last pic . Always find mine looks better under neon lights or "sunset"
