  1. A clean black Zed is a beautiful thing indeed!
  2. Always OCD when it came to parking to prevent door dings. Got to work early to get the safe parking space where nobody parks alongside. Parked away from the masses at supermarkets etc. Even aborted a few trips to the gym when I can't find a good space. This has left me with a pristine, ding free Zed for the past 8 yrs. This week I parked with the masses JUST TWICE. Late to work once and same with the gym. Result......3 deep dings:( At least paint isn't chipped and they're all on the passenger door. Hopefully get them massaged out at my next service. Just hope the ding man doesn't wreck the door cards when gaining access to the dings!
  3. Welcome to z ownership. The forum really adds to the pleasure of the experience and is overflowing with good advice on just about EVERYTHING!
  4. I bet you're one happy bunny
  5. Welcome to the club. We NEVER get bored of pics, so post up a few of your chariot!
  6. Apparently Tesco sell different products in different countries. In India where the cow is considered a holy creature, local government is so worried they are now testing Tesco's popular HORSEBURGERS for traces of BEEF!
  7. It was some x rated image of the girls reflection I'm the mirror wearing just a bra!
  8. Bought my Zed August '05.........7 and1/2 yrs ago! Still love it to bits despite it being my daily driver. I don't just drive it. It's almost as if I wear it.....kinda like A...FULL...METAL...JACKET This is MY zed. There are many like it......but this one is MINE. My zed is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it....as i must master my life. Without me.....my zed is useless. Without my zed....I am useless. I must steer my zed true. Imust drive better than my enemy who is trying to overtake me. ........AMEN
  9. Congratulations. I remember waaaaay back when I proposed. Pure butterflies in my stomach waiting for the moment to pop the question. But you look as cool as a cucumber!
  10. The white Rota grid drifts get my vote.
  11. Sunset orange is a very forgiving colour when it comes to grime. Even so, I get grumpy if it looks grubby. If very busy, I'll at least do the rims and tailpipes every couple weeks. Last week i washed mine at night too at about 9pm when the little'uns were asleep. Security light on and a portable halogen to light up other side of the car. Lit up the street, NEIGHBOURS THOUGHT A UFO HAD LANDED!
  12. To top up, a 5w30 will be fine. Even 0w40, 0w30, 5w40 etc will be OK as im assuming it's only going to be a couple hundred ml and not a big volume in relation to the total volume. The recommended oil is 5w30. Costco do 4l of 5w30 Castrol edge for £29.99 incl VAT for future oil changes;)
  13. I went to hospital with a toilet brush up my arse. The doctor said, "How did this happen?" I said, "Well I met this bird in a club, one thing led to another and we ended up back at mine..." He said, "Into the kinky stuff was she?" I said, "No ... my wife was home".
  14. Was down at the gym yesterday and noticed a hole in my trainer big enough to get my finger in. Problem is she has now lodged a formal complaint and I'm barred for life!
  15. When I first got my zed, the first place the rear stepped out was exiting a round about where the exit was an incline and in the rain. It's surprising how little poke it needs on this exit to lose the rear if the zed is not completely straight before zooming off. Seven years later I still managed to unsettle the rear a little on this exit despite using it every day on my commute. As others have said, caution on accelerating when the steering wheel ain't straight in the wet!
  16. Hope the damage wasn't serious. I remember watching one of those TV cop programs where a woman drove into the back of a stationary car AT SPEED at the toll booth. Blamed faulty brakes She was in a new Beemer too! Just be thankful you weren't on a motorbike
  17. I've used Carlack 68 nano systematic care for about 5 yrs. It's a good paint cleanser and sealant all in one. After a wash and clay you'd think the paint was clean but this manages to pull more dirt from the paint onto the applicator pad. I've never relied on it's sealant properties alone as I've always applied collinite wax ontop. So I can't really comment on it's durability on it's own. I'm assuming that you're better off durabilty wise with this under your wax than a pure cleanser stage followed by wax. On the downside, if using it by hand yourself it is harder to apply and buff off than similar all in one's like autoglym SRP.
  18. Paddy asked his wife what she'd like for Christmas. She said, "I'd love a black I-Pad" So he gave her a left hook and a shiner!
  19. What a nutter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYm9vCPLoG4
