  1. Would you still keep your Zed after buying your dream team of cars? If yes, no doubt your dream team would contain cars that would leave the zed for dead speed wise, so would you mod the hell out of it, or leave it just the way it is for the memories and old time's sake?
  2. First and last ones are the winners in my book.
  3. Poor guy at Halfords is probably telling his mates about this new sports car he's seen. The new NISSAN WASSO! His friends will tell him he's chatting rubbish but he's probably revelling with the fact that he's the only one to spot the rare beast that is the NISSAN WASSO.
  4. That is one talented salesman. He must burn the most calories giving pitches like that all day long!
  5. Now that's something you don't see everyday hehehe.
  6. The shadow chrome REALLY works well on those lips. Despite being darker than the silver centres, on the car they give the illusion of a mirror like finish. A very good alternative to a polished lip with or without a lacquered finish. And deffo a lot less fragile to our winters! Me likey a lot.
  7. Nice clear footage there. Those drivers were very lucky indeed not to have collided.
  8. If ever there was a doubt that sunset orange was one of the best colours for a zed...... THERE'S NONE NOW!
  9. Getting a new one is all well and good. BUT YOU LOSE HALF ON THE TRADE IN:-(
  10. Corruption aside, I was shocked at how uncoordinated the police were. I've seen primary school kids with better discipline and coordination
  11. HEADPHONES

    New Shed

What a result. Always had a secret desire to do something similar as a hobby. Buy an old black motor, give it a good machining/polish and wow prospective buyers into parting with their cash. Good luck with your journey into a C Class.
  12. Welcome to the OC. Would love to see pics of your beast........so don't be shy.......we need pics!

  14. Nice plates........supporting the club too at the bottom......good man
  15. I should have titled the thread MY ZED (and the forum) KEEPS ME SANE I may not post much.....but have a good read through at the end of the day. Always nice to know fellow Zedheads are but a click away in the vapours of the web
  16. Very nice......looks like a proffessional finish
  17. Life sucks at the moment. Home is mad and a mess. Work is mad and a mess. BUT WHEN I GET IN THE ZED FOR THE DAILY COMMUTE......IT'S ALL GOOD AGAIN! It's my sanctuary where I can keep it clean and kiddyclutter free, stick on some tunes and forget about all the shite going on.
  18. Saw a disturbing documentary on Ch5 today at 8.00pm about Robert Black. A sick serial killer of little girls. Finally caught in 1990 near Scotland when a witness finally saw him bundle a 6yr old girl into his car. They phoned the police who sent patrols searching for his van. A policeman recognised his van as he doubled back out of the area. On searching the back of his van found a 6yr old girl gagged and stuffed in a sleeping bag after having been abused. What was even more horrific was IT WAS THE POLICEMAN'S OWN DAUGHTER! How the hell he managed to control himself and not pummel the evil **** to a pulp there and then I don't know Guys like this deserve a punishment along the lines of the film "law abiding citizen" etc
  19. Ahhhh, wouldn't it be great if this was on the options list along with "avoid motorways" etc Do any of you think something like this may eventually be possible? Maybe at least "route with the least speed bumps". Or maybe this is as impossible as "route without potholes" Got a wedding to go to just south of London. After seeing the muddy roads of another members "adventures" it left me wanting for extra functions on my satnav Looking forward to the drive. It's been over a year since I've gone for a long drive in the ZED
  20. If you ask me, the spectators are braver/crazier than the drivers!
  21. Zed is called "DIE LOWW" This is Cantonese for big brother, often used by triads when referring to the big boss. The black and white mini is named after wife's panda teddy...PADDY.
  22. Damn.....that's a bit of bad news especially after being so careful in looking after the Volk's. I hope you find a cure without going through the expense of a refurb. If all else fails, before you go for a refurb you could try those impregnated sponges that JML and the like sell. I used some on my neighbours car where Chipsaway oversprayed a panel trapping dust underneath too! I have read similar stories on how fragile the lips are on my LMGT4's. So much so, for the past 5 years I only clean them with a running hose and a MF cloth. Then every couple months use a sealant with built in cleansers to remove any ingrained dirt and add protection. Good luck Chris.
  23. Bring back the good old punishment......"an eye for an eye" Anyone found carving into a man's ride with a key should be payed back with a carving ON THEIR FACE! Better still, let us carve the words "I keyed a car" across their face. Sorry for the extremeness but I'm having rage issues lately:(
  24. My bum gets a toasting as well as my back. The leather takes longer to heat up than fabric heated seats but does get warm on bum and back.
  25. I put a coat of C1.5 on the Zed beginning of September. Washed it yesterday and the beading is still tight. Lasting much longer than the Collinite wax I used to have. Dosn't feel as slick/slippery though. C1 gives even greater durability than C1.5 but needs a lot more prep with an IPA wipedown and also I think I read that the coating needs 2 days to cure "without touching water!". I'm happy with the C1.5, but would switch back to wax in a heartbeat when I have more time to detail as I miss that slickness you get for the first few weeks:(.
