Hmm I bought this on the forum myself for 50 a little while back. Only reason for selling is that I've now realised every single speaker in my car has been re-wired and so I can never use a sub! Without rewiring again anyway and not sure it's worth it...

Well from personal experience, the coins didn't work and the bumpons do...presumably it's because you cannot get near the thickness level of the bumpon with coins as the rubber surround will not stretch around the spring mechanism after say 5 coins. This method is also so much easier as you don't have to take anything off the car and don't risk damaging the paint (which again, you do with coins)

Okay so I've tried everything; adjusting the boot clamp position, coins, rubber washers, new springs - the lot. But this works and has done for the last two weeks and hasn't showed any signs of stopping! What you need; Clear plastic bumpons Superglue / plastic glue The before; The After Cheers! Leighton

True! Tough the clutch kit from the seller I recommended does have a 4 year / 40,000 mile warranty but do agree that zmanalex is a top chap and always willing to help!

Okay have changed the pump and now working but still not very powerful, ended up pushing wire through the non return valve and its working slightly better but ill also need one of those.
