  1. Hmm I bought this on the forum myself for 50 a little while back. Only reason for selling is that I've now realised every single speaker in my car has been re-wired and so I can never use a sub! Without rewiring again anyway and not sure it's worth it...
  2. Hi everyone, Selling my OEM bose sub woofer. Looking for £35 Thanks, Leighton
  3. Can you post a picture of the contents please? My fans have just died and car overheating may sound like a stupid question but are the motors included (i.e - are they built in?) If so I will take them! Many thanks, Leighton
  4. Well from personal experience, the coins didn't work and the bumpons do...presumably it's because you cannot get near the thickness level of the bumpon with coins as the rubber surround will not stretch around the spring mechanism after say 5 coins. This method is also so much easier as you don't have to take anything off the car and don't risk damaging the paint (which again, you do with coins)
  5. Sorry lads I nicked these from my mate also!! Pretty sure they aren't that expensive though
  6. Okay so I've tried everything; adjusting the boot clamp position, coins, rubber washers, new springs - the lot. But this works and has done for the last two weeks and hasn't showed any signs of stopping! What you need; Clear plastic bumpons Superglue / plastic glue The before; The After Cheers! Leighton
  7. True! Tough the clutch kit from the seller I recommended does have a 4 year / 40,000 mile warranty but do agree that zmanalex is a top chap and always willing to help!
  8. Actually, just looked at the link and they have an offer on, get it now, it's 243£!!
  9. Hi mate, It was tickenham garage just outside of bristol. If you're not around this way then also check out mrclutch as think they cover quite a wide area, they also quoted £450 including parts. If you would rather take it somewhere else and provide your own parts, go to this link and make an offer of £250, they will bite your hand off (it's what I did) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250732319760?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649. Cheers!
  10. Okay have changed the pump and now working but still not very powerful, ended up pushing wire through the non return valve and its working slightly better but ill also need one of those. Halfords now don't stock them so does anyone have any suggestions, would this work? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fuel-Line-Hose-Valve-Breather/dp/B003UVXCV0/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368040199&sr=1-2&keywords=non+return+valve They seem quite hard to come by! Cheers
  11. Hi everyone, Just had a new clutch fitted, all in with parts for £450 so not as bad as I thought, and apparently "just in time" as it wasn't long until I damaged the flywheel. Tickenham garage for anyone note rested in the south west. Also voted as the garage of the year in the south west so not just me that thinks they're good! One question - it's gone from fairly stiff to incredibly and overly light! Going to take a bit of getting used to but I've driven about 5 zedshed and none were this light, anyone else who's had a clutch replaced experienced the same thing? I look a right pillock when driving at the mo! Cheers
  12. Does anybody have a link for the correct front and rear pumps cheers!
  13. Okay now not working at all! Can blow bubbles in the washer bottle and air out the wipers so presume the pumps gone? Cheers
  14. Hey everyone, Bit of a weird one - my Front washers - they work after pulling on the stick for about 10 seconds but any less and they won't at all! Any ideas? Once they are working, theyre fine and it won't be until I leave the car overnight that I'll have to hold the stick again! Cheers!!
  15. Ah sorry, Yes you get five different grades of sand paper, primer, paint and lacquer.
  16. Hey everyone, So I recently trundled up to reading to pick up some nice track rays (Cheers A9H-RX!) and swap out the old touring rays which I had previously. Pretty happy with them overall but wanted to try and sort some of the scuffs out myself. I went onto ebay and found one of those 'DIY repair kits' and set to work this evening. Here's the before; After sanding; After primer; After paint & lacquer Then I tried a bigger chip! Before; After; Still not perfect but once it's dried I'll go back, sand down and paint again. Overall - for scuffs, it's excellent! And if you're looking at the wheels like a normal person would, you'd never notice they'd been done. All for less than a tenner!! Of course, I'm not saying this is as good as getting them properly refurbed but for anyone looking to do it on the cheap (aka me after just buying a clutch) then this is the way forward! Cheers
  17. Hi everyone, Just fitted the track rays to mine so have these up for grabs. I'm based near Bristol (Clevedon) and am prepared to post if required. Not putting a price up as no idea what they are worth so just make me an offer! Don't want them hanging around my garden for long... I've just used autosol on all of them to polish them up and take back the awful spray job the previous owner did. They have been primed and wouldn't look too shabby with a nice good lick of paint! For rules' sake And the rest of the pics; This one is near mint - very slight damage. This one has corrosion around the valve and surface damage (most of which has been filled, ready for painting) This one is the worst of the lot but again is mostly surface damage and has been filled, ready for painting. I've tried to to show this on the next image. Also has very slight valve corrosion. This one isn't too bad. Valve corrosion and kerb rash. I've been as honest as I can and pics to prove. I will say one thing, no offer is a stupid offer. Prepared to let these go for a pretty low price so try me! Cheers
  18. LeonK - hahaha! I drive it everyday which is the weirdest thing! Only parked on the drive overnight!! Gotta feel sorry for the little thing, all that effort haha!
  19. So there I was, pottering along in the Brisol traffic yesterday afternoon and I suddenly notice that my engine temp is in the red. Sh*t.... I pull over and pop the bonnet. I'm not the most mechanically inclined but thought I'd take a look t the radiator. Sandwiched in the bottom left corner (between another tiny radiator - anyone know what that is?) was this; A friggin birds nest!! At first I thought it was just dead grass caught up inside but definitely not. Can even see the marks where the little blighter has been paying regular visits through the front grill!! Cheers Leighton
