  1. Wheels are a very personal thing. Some like big lips. Some like concave. Some like 19s. Others like to go large with 20s. But I think even the original owner didn't realise how "odd" those exhaust tips would look until fitted! Probably ordered without seeing them fitted to a Zed or at least I hope that is the case. Then again it must be a custom made job as I can't see any company making a batch of these thinking they're going to fly off the shelves. In which case shame on the exhaust place. By all means show the man a selection of tips. But don't give the option that is the equivalent of choosing a "Pinocchio" nose for a nose job
  2. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104715-rim-friendly-manchester-tyre-services/page__fromsearch__1 I go here now. Don't forget to ask for the "special" tyre machine
  3. A big thank you from me too for helping to run our beloved forum:wave:
  4. Congratulations. You certainly set the bar high. Imagine her telling her girlfriends who now will be expecting similar levels of awesomeness.........poor sods
  5. Those lips look irresistible as do the rims. Is the red Zed in the pic running 18s on lowered suspension or 19s on standard ride height?
  6. OK BBK. That Ferrari ad does top my Ford Focus one Could still be better if they put "Mr Moose" in somewhere
  7. Watch "The Moose & the Ford Focus" on YouTube One of the most memorable car ads I remember is actually a Ford Focus one with a "moose"
  8. I'd rather deal with UK police any day. In Malaysia some of the traffic cops proper take the Michael. Pull over a half empty lorry accusing you of being overweight. To prove your innocence you have to go across town and waste a day queing to be weighed at their official depot. .........or pay the "on the spot fine" Weekends see loads of traffic cops at night catching drink drivers Does sod all coz the rich kids just pay "on the spot fines" When my dad's car got impounded for a parking violation he went to the station to pay his ticket. He was greeted by the seargent on the desk who took payment but said they were too understaffed to release his car today and to come back next week! Dad kicked off and said the ticket stated he could get car back same day. He was then offered the " on the spot fine!" in addition to the ticket fee. When he said paying both was unfair the seargent said loudly in front of the whole station that times were hard and he had a family to support Give me condescending UK traffic cops any day over those jokers any day.
  9. Your Zed must be very happy to see you again! Welcome back the both of you
  10. I'd just hold out til you can use a forward facing seat. Rear facing seats and airbags are suicide. Time will fly by and you can take your toddler for a zed cruise in a forward facing seat then. Used to use a forward facing seat when kids were old enough. People would scowl at me when parking in parent bays only to be put in their place as I plucked my sprog from the passenger side My kids love rides in the zed. Daughter used to always want me to rev it "make it roar like a lion daddy!" Not sure if anyone has disabled the passenger air bags and bypassed them with a suitable resistor.
  11. Watch "True Facts About The Mantis Shrimp" on YouTube
  12. Watch "Giant Smashing Mantis Shrimp VS Giant Crabs" on YouTube These are some amazing fighting shrimp!
  13. Ahhh.......the first day of Zed ownership is such a memorable one. I remember driving around for hours listening to a Missy Elliot CD on loop Congratulations and hope she brings you as much joy as mine has
  14. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01487A74O?keywords=gel%20pad%20phone%20holder&qid=1455965427&ref_=sr_1_13&sr=8-13 I use a similar one to this in my cubby. Very like the one OP had. After a year or two the gel loses it's stickiness. Just wash with soapy water and hey presto........stickier than a turd after a dodgy curry
  15. It's sad to hear of any fatal accident. Hearing this reminds me of us losing another azure owner back in 2010. Ian was only 26 when he was involved in a fatal collision. Only seems like a few months ago seeing him at a couple of meets.
  16. Watch "Ape With AK-47" on YouTube Ahhh.....Kalashnikovs. Reminds me of this oldie but goodie
  17. Front looks so much meaner without number plate and badge

  19. Photobucket is not liking me this evening. Here's a link to another link
  20. Friends always say I'll never sell mine and just past it down to MY son. But he's only 4 at the moment Lonnnng way to go yet!
  21. Wow......really is AS NEW. A rare item indeed on the 2nd hand market! GLWTS. If jetwashed at the flange regularly these can last years. Mine is over 10yrs old and going strong despite daily use.
  22. I bought mine new in 2005. A few niggles whilst in warranty. New boot struts. O2 sensor. Clicky axel. Apart from that and routine servicing I've had 1. Replace faulty brake pedal switch. A cheap £25 5 min job (thanks to the forum's input) 2. Replace an airbag sensor behind steering wheel (clock spring). About £100 2nd hand including fitting. On 48k. Used as my daily for a 13 mile round trip to work but for past 7 years I use the kiddo mobile for weekends. After a good clean it still mesmerises me seeing it under the forecourt lights when filling up. If you WERE to sell up, what would you replace the zed with?
  23. I can relate to this article. Started driving very late due to being a skint student. Graduated at 25, got a job, learnt to drive and bought my first car. £600......HONEST! A 12yr old "A" reg boxy VW Polo 998cc. I proceded waxing it and applying trim and tyre dressing in the flat's car park for some pompass guy from upstairs to shout out "what the f*** you polishing that piece of sh** for "
