Many moons ago my boss got pulled one night in his 200sx. No offences committed. Just a stop and search. Officer's reasoning was he fitted the profile. Young Asian lad and performance Jap car. Either stolen and joyriding or out to commit a crime. He had his mum and grandma in the car at the time

Now the zed has deprecated to Fiesta money, comments are more from people appreciating it's form and function rather than people with a chip on their shoulder bitter that they can't afford a new £30k coupe. When I tell people that I could find them a similar 05 plate zed for £8k I is usually get an appreciative comment like....."Looks brand new/million dollars "

I saw a bog standard Quashqi with a Nismo badge in the grill. I'd feel a bit embarrassed going to a car meet or similar place being seen by car enthusiasts pointing and commenting but hats off to the fella for not giving a monkeys and enjoying the "enhanced embellishment" on his grill. I would however point and laugh out loud if there was a TypeR or AMG badge on the Quashqi

I ordered mine with the Nismo Aero kit. Told the dealer not to put the stickers on but leave them for me to decide later. 11 years on and I'm still deciding The one time I think it is a must is on the LMGT 4 rims. They just look naked without the decals.

I'm often envious of those who chose the "blue" pill living their carefree lives........but only for a moment until I see or hear my kids. Once in my zed I'd stick on some tunes and my worries would fade away for a while while enjoyed the drive. Literally giving me some breathing space. When friends without kids ask me what it's like having 2 I tell them to watch "the pill" clip from the matrix. Pick the blue pill and stay childless. Enjoy your freedom. Indulge yourself in your own interests and passions. Enjoy more disposable income and life with less responsibility, blissfully ignorant of the joy a child can bring. OR Pick the red pill. Have a sprog. Kiss goodbye to sleep. Say farewell to the freedom and a carefree life. BUT....learn the truth about life as a parent. Experience the happiness and love only felt between a parent and a child. So how is my life now? Once again I quote the Matrix EVERTHING TASTES LIKE CHICKEN

Met my missus at 19. Got married at 21. 44 now. Everything was bliss. had 2 kids 7 and 4 yrs ago. Big change in lifestyle. No time to do what we used to do as individuals or as a couple. Strain took its toll and we both felt as you do. I resented trying to do THE RIGHT THING coming home after work and sharing the chors cooking etc. Gave up Kungfu which I'd done every day since 16. I'd say around the time 2nd kid came was hardest part of my life emotionally. BUT....we talked through it. Make sure we both havr a little ME time each. Obviously not as much as pre kids. This makes life much better. Gradually the "can't stand being in the same room" feeling disappeared. Love is in the air again. There is hope sometimes

Ive had 19' LMGT4s for nearly 9yrs. The lips are VERY easily marked or damaged when tyre changing. Please tell the tyre fitters accordingly and show them before and check thoroughly after. Not only the breaker bar taking the tyre off but the machine clamping the wheel can also mark the rim! If possible find a place that has a MEGAMOUNT SMART machine

I was reminded today how much I love the Zed horn. Snowing in Manchester today. Driving to work on a dual carriageway and some dumb bint with snow covered side windows decides to try to cut in front of me without indicating obviously not seeing me in the left hand lane. Immediately banged the horn and she aborted her manoeuvre Had I one of those daft horns on the indicator stalk I would have probably snapped it off as I slammed it! What little touches in your Zed have you come to appreciate?

Wheels are a very personal thing. Some like big lips. Some like concave. Some like 19s. Others like to go large with 20s. But I think even the original owner didn't realise how "odd" those exhaust tips would look until fitted! Probably ordered without seeing them fitted to a Zed or at least I hope that is the case. Then again it must be a custom made job as I can't see any company making a batch of these thinking they're going to fly off the shelves. In which case shame on the exhaust place. By all means show the man a selection of tips. But don't give the option that is the equivalent of choosing a "Pinocchio" nose for a nose job

Those lips look irresistible as do the rims. Is the red Zed in the pic running 18s on lowered suspension or 19s on standard ride height?
