Welcome, got my 350 at 21 and the insurance wasn't too bad at that stage, so if you keep hold of it for a while (and believe me, you'll want to) then you should be alright for road use after a couple of years. However it has skyrocketed recently for some reason after another year driving it, think the prices are on the rise big time.

I've seen two white 370s on the Wirral, one looked standard and one yesterday with ARK grip exhaust driving through Ellesmere Port. I've got the silver 350 you've seen about though

Thinking about doing mine myself with the uprated seals... Mileage at 112k (put 6k on her in 2 months) and when hot my oil pressure is reading around 10-15psi at idle, 30 or so at 70mph in 6th gear.

Don't feel too bad mate, I'm in the process of paying for my insurance today/tomorrow for the 9th with my driving ban being up (my own fault being banned and I know it was stupid so don't need the rants at me haha) at 21 with 2 years no claims and the cheapest is around £3950!! That's even including the specialists who seem happy with the fact I had a jaguar S-Type R at 19 so the high power RWD situation is covered.

I guess not haha. I havent actually seen any perforated ones i dont think..? I don't think I've seen any without perforations either (of course, I could be wrong), all of the examples I viewed had them, and the one I bought does too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He didn't seem particularly well educated on the car as a whole, it was just a general used car dealership and I feel they're used to the likes of family hatches and small saloons really - if anything it was me picking out little bits and looking for the common faults that come with these cars (aside the exhaust, as you've read). Nonetheless, I'm very pleased with the car and madly in love with her already without even having had a go!

I have read through your progress thread on the engine rebuild, it's a shame you've had to go through that and do it but at least now you know you'll be running a brand new engine (so to speak) and the car will be better than it ever has been since it left Nissan's door.

Yep, she actually exists, is sat at mine and is completely HPI clear and all engine codes/chassis number etc etc match all documentation and everything. Completely clean! 🎉 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
