DIGGER WARS First 20 Ton load of concrete should be collected tomorrow morning - then we will did another load More coming soon We have been up against it today as removing an underground nuclear bunker was not part of the site clearance budget! But as you can see with proactive organisation, the correct tools and some bloody minded determination we won! Makes you wonder what kind of person wants and builds a greenhouse like that! Eeeek! 3 Quote
Humpy Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That's nuts! Surprised to see Andy working or was he just pretending by sitting in the digger 1 Quote
Keyser Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Epic days progress today, I took a day of work and alongside Andy James we broke the back of the site prep first load out - This guy can shift some big slabs our grab driver was Ellliot and hats of he goes the extra mile, nothing was to much trouble he knows his machine and how to use it and even cleared/built a dumping ramp each time he took a load out, hats of to the man. More soil out The totals were 12 x 20 ton trucks each carries approx 16 tons so 192 Tons of soil 2 x 20 ton and 1 10 ton truck load of concrete so - 42 tons of concrete blocks and rubble a grand total of 234 tons Moving on Andy had to say goodbye to his little pecker today It was worked hard yesterday though! So at the end of the day we have - Even did a bit of pegging out Proper mark out and start digging the footings tomorrow More Soon. 2 Quote
