Aliensurfer Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Blimey! He won't last long pulling out like that. Nice to see your camera working well. Quote
LRF4N Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 That was close but the truck looked like it was going too fast for that area/road Stupid drivers annoy me- this morning there was thick fog. Thick as in 25-30 yards visibility. And soooo many drivers with either just sidelights or no lights at all! Really does my head in Quote
FUG Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Too close for comfort ! Nice camera action could come in handy Quote
Seabee Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I almost had a fight today when I seen a guy cut 4 cars up so I cut him up! Then he started accusing me of bad driving! Then he egged me to get out the car I got out and he drove off ****ing FUMING!!! Quote
WhackyWill Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 WoW TBBK...Your lucky day...that car and its contents would have been splattered all over your windscreen..!!! Quote
JetSet Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Bloke/Woman in the car was daydreaming and broke the golden rule of pulling out at a junction while another car pulled across it, partially obscuring his/her view. Mistakes like this are all too common these days. That could have been nasty Very, tanker could have pushed that car into oncoming traffic, doesn't bear thinking about really. Pete Quote
Dblock Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 wow that could have been harsh. BTW where do you live? It looks horrible 1 Quote
AMT Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Jesus..... lucky, lucky... or stupid, stupid should I say... Stupid drivers annoy me- this morning there was thick fog. Thick as in 25-30 yards visibility. And soooo many drivers with either just sidelights or no lights at all! Really does my head in Does my head in when people drive at night with sidelights... Quote
DoogyRev Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 You aint seen bad drivers until you've been to Richmond, BC Quote
HEADPHONES Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Nice clear footage there. Those drivers were very lucky indeed not to have collided. Quote
Pimm Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 The last few months I think the roads have become a battle ground. Every one in a rush getting from A to B without worrying about anybody else but them selves. Takes nothing to start a fight these days. Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 It's in Sutton. Aka Slutton. Yeah my first thought was that if they got hit the ka would have been dragged into me. Well I edited the video to ensure that it ended with me right behind the ka so the plate was fully recognisable. I wonder if it might get back to them eventually. Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 PS about the camera comments, Thanx. Just need to figure out how to remove the headliner so I can hide the wiringvand route it through the a pillar into behind the dashboard. Quote
Ewan27 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Ha, if her/his car was any bigger it could have been a disaster. I was driving to work this morning, stopped at traffic lights at a cross roads. I was first the in the cue but a few yards back (keep clear signs) and moved off when the light went green. All of a sudden out the corner of my eye a blue focus is coming steaming towards me from the right - I slammed on the brakes and turned hard right, I skidded and just missed the stupid f*cker. Ended up stopped and sideways in the middle of a cross roads Can I ask which camera type and model you have TBBK? Quote
Chesterfield Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 PS about the camera comments, Thanx. Just need to figure out how to remove the headliner so I can hide the wiringvand route it through the a pillar into behind the dashboard. Just bought a couple of BlackVue's myself Read enough stories about insurance companies wanting to go 50/50 and screwing people over, plus the obvious whiplash claims and "you drove into the back of me" reversing scams. You may be able to get it wired to a permanent live in or behind the courtesy light if routing round the whole windscreen is not possible. Thats where Im intending to feed from (though its not in the Zed). I may get another couple and have them rear facing in each car too. Haven't caught anything noteable on mine yet but only been in a week or so. Quote
Flex Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I think you shoulda pursued the driver and said you were going to show that to the police! Quote
