Commander Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Stuck in a waiting room - fiancée fell off a horse which then forward-roled on top of her. She had all the gear on but possible pelvis damage. Ambulance service were brilliant. I hate not being able to do anything, just stuck here on my own :-( Quote
Tricky-Ricky Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Hope she is OK fella, nothing worse than waiting and feeling useless. Quote

GMballistic Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Terrible news Commander. Wish her all the best, ...hopefully it's not too serious and she'll make a speedy recovery. Quote
Ebized Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Feel for both of you - best of wishes nothing too serious from what sounds a frightening injury. Quote
M1 6RYF Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I literally just A&E for my 6 week old daughter. But she will be fine! Hope your partner is too Quote
ZEUS Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Sounds awful , a fractured pelvis is incredibly painful so hope she is ok Quote
350zedd Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Sorry to hear this, hope she is not too badly injured and makes a speedy recovery Quote
veilside z Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 I do hope everything is well and you're both back home soon. Quote
Commander Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Thanks for the kind words. Just got home after several ultra-sounds, xray and CT scans - nothing broken and no organs damaged... Just REALLY sore and struggling to even stand up, let alone walk. Watching your lady fall off a horse is bad enough, watching the horse forward-roll over her afterwards isn't brilliant! I was on a horse too at the time - never jumped off one so quickly in my life! 3 Quote
Paul K Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 So pleased that everything is ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Bockaaarck Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Glad to hear nothing is broken and there is no organ damage. Must have been very worrying indeed. I guess the next few weeks will be a lot of rest to let the bruising settle. Then a couple more to let thing ease. Wishing her all the very best for a recovery. No doubt you'll be doing all you can to make her as comfortable as possible Quote
Ekona Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Very good news, although I'm sure she doesn't feel like that right now! I'm an ex-rider too, I pretty much gave up after my first big fall so I know how painful it can be, please pass on my best for a speedy recovery. Quote
GMballistic Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Wishing the Mrs Commander a speedy recovery, ...guess you're going to be on butler duty for a few weeks Commander. Quote
