lukehigs Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Hi everyone, Glad I finally joined this forum it seems like a great community here. So I've always had classic cars but needed a more reliable daily driver, and my girlfriend convinced me to get a Z as she's always loved them but never had one. I think it's pretty much standard apart from a scorpion exhaust system and a front bumper in the wrong colour! On to some pics...(excuse the window seal!) Plans are to generally tidy up a few bits around the Z, get the front bumper resprayed (and fit it properly) and maybe do a few subtle mods. Now a cheeky pic of the other love in my life (might get some abuse!)... Thanks for looking! Luke Quote
davedutch Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Welcome, Enjoy the Z Got to say if your girlfriend persuaded you to get a Z she should definately rate higher than a Capri in your love stakes! Quote
Steel Lynx Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Welcome to the forum Luke. Since no one else has said it yet, you need a stubby!! Quote
MIGWEL Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I remember when the mk3 capris came out. I nearly bought a new one from the ford dealer. Its surprising how dated they look now but still a cool car and will always be one of my faves. Welcome along bud Quote
Irn Bru Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Welcome along..........love the Capri, one of my favorite modern classics Quote
lukehigs Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Thanks for the warm welcome guys. My Z is a Japanese import with 35000 on the clock. Bad points are the drivers window doesn't work, the boot struts have gone soft and the satnav needs replacing, luckily all things I can tackle myself. Hopefully there are no hidden surprises in store! Quote
lukehigs Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Also the capri love is appreciated! My sentimental money pit XD Quote
daveallen1999 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Hello and welcome. I like Capri's as well. Reminds me of the "The Professionals". But theirs was white. Or I think it was? Quote
tomzzzcattle Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Welcome along, car looks nice and tidy Quote
