  1. I think you answered your own question - too many unknowns during 5 years - I would continue looking......
  2. If you've got the space for a car sized one then you've pretty much got the space for a proper garage. Wouldn't need planning permission for it, as its not a permanent structure. Wrong , even an awning needs permission A commercial awning also needs building regulations so as to make sure it doesn't fall on somebody's head.. A awning on a private residence doesn't..!! (maybe it depends on which Counsel you are dealing with).. Check with your local Council - planning rules can be complex. Being a ex-planner it never ceased to amaze me the various interpretations that can be made from one local authority to another and a lot depends just whereabouts on the house it would be sited and what local controls may have taken away normal permitted rights normally expected. But a bit extreme to seek Counsel advice Will
  3. So Michelin make Potenzas too, and there's me thinking they were made just by Bridgestone............
  4. Moved from for sale section
  5. Good luck Not sure if you meant to post the hazy thumbnail pic but clicking on that revealed a much better one:
  6. Listening to that second vid at the engine bay it does sound as though there is an unusual amount of intake noise, but that could just be your recording. Providing the exhaust is not blowing anywhere - particularly at the flexi joints, (which you will find out on Monday) I wonder if one of those large puddles you drove through has got into the intake and/or it is now not 'baffling' the intake as it should? Unlikely, particuarly if you have the standard intake as shown in your link thread but I'm clutching a bit at straws to try to help you: Not much help, but maybe a couple of things to check first
  7. Does look very nice - credit to you
  8. You are supposed to be using super unleaded. States it in the manual and inside the fuel filler cap. It does amaze me just how many times the question is asked about the correct RON to be used when it is clearly stated in the filler cap as well as the manual - that is 98 RON (or better). It then follows on why so many engines do not last as they should, by mizers saving a few quid (or pence even) on each fill-up. 350: 370:
  9. Don't get my Christmas present until next Friday..............can't wait!
  10. Time to make a visit to the Zed Shed me thinks Er, can you save a bit please as I need to give my new steed some exercise in January
  11. Just gets better and better Steve - take my hat off to you
  12. That looks really good
  13. +1 - can be checked by turning the wheel slightly to see the full impression of the pad of just do a little drive and and slow to a stop without using the brakes and check then.

  15. When is Wales this year? You missed it this year
  16. I remember the first time we met at Horsham and thought there was no way someone as tall as you would last for long in a ZED, but survive you did and good to hear you have made a sensible decision as I really do miss ZED ownership. I hope my next car will give me a similar buzz as well as being a bit more family focused.........
  17. Makes me want to have a ZED again just to enjoy some fun at the Shed - Huge respect to Santa and his helpers so that another member can enjoy their pride and joy again (and not talking about you Smurf )
  18. This retirement lark means I'm the under the cosh to work 365 days a year - the jobs that get lined up for me to do
  19. Now who left those elevens I wonder
  20. Darren let me know when you have the car, be nice to have a passenger ride with a decent driver Will do Dave, make sure you wear your incontinence pad Let me know the dates Darren. If your having a decent run in it, I'll get the guest rooms ready for you. Guess he could call on you on during the drive around GB that Darren has in mind to really test the car.
  21. So much for your police deterrent
  22. Having followed Adrian on several drives and seen the sparks from the exhaust cans on his car when under compression, if you intend to lower GUNs be prepared for some extra noise of metal on tarmac. You can see how low they and the pipes into them are on GIXXERUK's 370, which I believe is on standard height suspension. That said, the Ark does sound very nice
  23. Moved from 350 General! And Merry Christmas to you Dicky and lets hope in 2015 you post in the right section
  24. I've lived out there - they wash the streets every night with huge water bowsers, I don't mind that except they live in a desert - we get hose pipe bans and we live on a little island surrounded by water - does my head in! Expect they just filled up a returning empty tanker or two and shipped it in - not as though they couldn't afford it
