  1. You will find the code stamped on the bottom right hand side of the engine firewall info plaque. Its riveted to the left hand side behind the engine. Should be KY0 Not sure if it is also on the label in the door shut - they are on the 370's
  2. Will you do mine first then At least we know that one thing they are not short of in Scotland.................water If there is any left after I have watched you slave

  4. I think so - its noticeabale how many would-be purchasers seem off-put by the tax difference. I've also noticed of late that there are an increasing number of pre rev-up engines seemingly with oil issues. My guess is that a large part of the problem is down to the stupid dip-stick design which is common to both the 276 and 296 engines and whilst a small oil consumption is nothing to worry about if the levels are not carefully checked and it gets low that's when problems arise.
  5. Enjoy the trip and looking forward to seeing the pics
  6. Rear vision with the roadster hood up is probably more restricted than the coupe I suspect. I say that as I am also some 6'2" tall and although I don't have the pedal issues Lexx found, even with the squab being at its lowest setting and the rear of the seat reclined as far as comfortable reach allows, the rear view vision through the hatch from the mirror is restricted by the black window surround. Which means I have to crouch down to see the top half of following cars which for obvious reasons is not ideal. Japanese designers forgot we not all short arses Maybe the roadster has reduced seat travel compared to the coupe that gave you the cramped feeling Al?
  7. Chesterfield and Gtype added to main list and below: Friday 2nd September meal at the Boathouse - 8.00 for 8.15 1) Ebized + 1 2) glrnet + 1 3) AK350Z + 1 4) Will350Z 5) Darren-B + 1 6) dawnc + 1 7) Jay + 1 8) Ken 9) Chesterfield +1 10) Gtype +1
  8. Certainly wasting your money going to the dealer - a good independent is a far wiser and and cheaper option.
  9. Might be worth trying these as they are fairly local to you: http://www.micheldever.co.uk/car_tyres.html Afraid dealer prices, with a few exceptions like the one in Middlesborough, are often telphone numbers.... Let us know how you get on with tyre pricing
  10. Thread now locked as the item is sold. Chee350 - you might wish to start a new thread in the 'wanted' section
  11. Thought you were on gardening leave p.s. Good news on the job offers though
  12. Request dealt with but note that you can amend your post/thread title yourself
  13. Eau rouge was good viewing but the F1 cars are so good now it is no longer the challenge, as I found out a few years back. From what I see on the telly I would say the Chicane just before the start/finish straight is the place I will head for next time
  14. Who's hair is that Will, obviously not yours
  15. Did you know the standard 370 rear spolier is two-piece? The top section can be separated from the lower section, which has made me think whether a different 'top' could be addded utilizing the lower section, which I believe would need to be taken off the car to fit but would save the issue of making good the hatch likely to be needed by a completely hew spoiler.
  16. Main thing after a good polish is to keep it waxed regularly - I try to do my mine every month or so with Supernatural. Reflection you can achieve on the Storm White. Even taken to using the Supernatural on the wheels - certainly does help to stop the brake dust from getting a hold
  17. Interesting pic of the 'plank' on the underside - not something I have seen before and surprised you were allowed to take that.
  18. Maybe That will be good -my 370 gets a bit lonely and what with Chris deciding he prefers escargots to haggis
  19. Like his shipmate then - all the nice boys........
