  1. You sure it was a GT4 - I have seen a yellow import around the area on a couple of occasions (each time I was not in the ZED)
  2. Excellent find and info Pot ordered. Took the liberty to copy the paint details: .jpg] With VAT and shipping a 500ml pot works out at £23.88 so it should be good!

    Perfect Z...

Similar to the Ellia one I was going to get for my previous 350 until the Euro made it ridiculously expensive
  4. Don't forget to smile when you pass those little white vans
  5. Got to be one of the coolest stretch limo's around. Bet the ladies have fun getting in and out.......................no, I meant I bet their escorts have fun watching the ladies get in and out
  6. Speaking from experience there Dave The red does look to have a good depth to it - better than when Nissan first painted the car I bet.
  7. Clip on 10pm National BBC news last night about the blades being made at H & W and tonight they are showing them being shipped out to a Cumbrian farm and assembled - so it does look as though we are going to see Andrew at work
  8. What are you waiting for viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52396 I'll let you off this once forgetting his name
  9. I think a sequel to "Behind the scenes" is required now to explain all viewtopic.php?f=13&t=44081&hilit=beavis
  10. Thanks Dave One that got left behind during the split:
  11. CJ/Neilp This thread started as a 370 query and the issues with the 350's are not necessarily the same. Unless you think otherwise, I suggest you start another thread
  12. tut tut Al - you forgotten already - see last post viewtopic.php?f=56&t=50423
  13. Following on from what Neil has said......... and nicked from another thread the brake bleeding procedure is: Bleeding Brake System AFS000U0 CAUTION: While bleeding, pay attention to master cylinder fluid level. 1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. 2. Connect a vinyl tube to the rear left air bleeder. 3. Fully depress brake pedal 4 to 5 times. 4. With the brake pedal depressed, loosen the air bleeder to let the air out, and then tighten it immediately. 5. Repeat steps 3, 4 until no more air comes out. 6. Tighten the air bleeder to the specified torque. Refer to BR-25, "Components" ,BR-31, "Component" ,BR- 38, "Components" ,BR-44, "Components" . 7. In steps 2 to 6 below, with the master cylinder reservoir tank filled at least half way, bleed air from the front right, rear right, and front left tires, in that order
  14. The MX5 is still for sale Yes, had a few time wasters but no sale, I now have three cars, of which are all two seaters are you saying you might need 4 seats then
  15. Same for me and makes the lbft torque a shade over 300 at the fly whereas it is about 260 at the hubs and I see from the dyno thread the two are variously quoted, which of course can distort perceptions. Mark @ Abbey certainly shys away from set percentage calcs between the fly and hubs as there are a host of variables - i.e. see here: http://www.rndengineering.co.uk/page_p1 ... horsepower
  16. The fact their other 2 listings for a lip and rear spolier do include the words Nismo style, you would certainly hope that the one Sparky has won is genuine as the ad does not include the word "style" , although just what the damage is another matter. I would take a screen shot of the ad just in case.......
  17. Perhaps there ought to be an emphasis on minimum sentences being set in law - issued maybe when someone pleads guilty, and then a sliding scale up to a maximum which the Judges, Magistrates, prosecution and lawyers can see up front will apply in particular circumstances taking into past record etc. But something needs to be done to deter these brainless morons who are putting two fingers up and laughing at the system as it is.
  18. I had a similar sympton with my first (2004) ZED when I first got it. Turned out to be a rear pad sticking - supplying garage clearned out both rear calipers and copper greased the shims/back of pads and problem solved. Suggest you check that first, as a whole cheaper fix than the clicky axle repair and I have to say with the axle issue, and having heard several, you usually hear a series of clicks not just one - get someone outside to listen as you move the car back and forth to help identify the actual noise
