Update on the time - now 8.15 pm. Time for drinks before - having just provisionally booked for 12 and they are already nearly fully booked But that is not unusual in FA - the restuarants do get booked up and you can struggle to find somewhere on spec .

Quite - that is just silly money - if they kept below £50 I'm sure the volume they would sell would more than make up for the small profit by the few they are selling to those who have more money than................

I think what the others have said about revenue collection is right as it sounds from your description that the first they had seen of your front end was when they went past with the blues and twos. I reckon they thought you had something to hide by being so brazen as to give them a look and thought as you had clocked them and had a fancy car we we will give him a tug to see what he must obviously be hiding.

You can adjust the volume for your phone in the cars settings to suit you/your phone, when the mobile signal strength allows its use of course.
