  1. I changed to Chrome not long back after years of using IE and having found successive editions seemed to have more and more irritations. Chrome is certainly not without its faults, but overall it does seem to have less 'issues' for me on the PC.
  2. YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS MAN. You do worry me at times Money no object I can't see how anyone would take a 350 (and knowing you prefer that over a 370) and not a R35. OK so a GTR has a lot of toys that can make the driver's input less important but to drive one VERY quickly on the road or track will still test the very best. Having been fortunate to be taken round some 15 or so laps of Knockhill by ZMANALEX in his, all I can say is, Lotto please smile on me one day
  3. Can't miss a fellow Storm White owner's big day - have a good one Mike
  4. How many miles has the car done? I presume the tyres are Bridgestones 050A? What depth of tread is there on the front and rears?
  5. Hi Charlie The high heels still your favourite driving shoes Yes, I remember your UY very well from the October 2007 Wales drive - I seemed to be stuck to your rear end most of the way round Link to the pics to prove it: http://s158.photobuc...html?sort=3&o=0 Great car and if it is still like it was back then, which I have no doubt it is, then someone is going the get a great buy
  6. Enjoyed the race again! The Lotus spinning in front of you Steve at the hairpin was a bit of a brown trouser moment? I now see what you mean about the safety car and pit entrance congestion - I'm sure I would have done the same thing in the heat of the moment The pit stop though looked impressive - no chance of you staying in the car Steve, being hauled out by that bully But some good consistent lapping going on, no missed gears and some opportunistic overtakes - no doubt if the safety car issue had not messed up the driver change over plans you would have had a podium position, but that said excellent result given the lightweight Seat 'specials' you were up against.
  7. Reading the video comments, it seems both drivers are instructors and the one in the Aventator was giving charity rides and it was a relatively new car. So I tend to agree with the conclusions that the Aventator driver was more mindful of the $200,000 he was in charge of than the 370 driver with 'only' $40,000 to worry about. That said, the 370 driver clearly knew the track well and without hardly any sideways stuff and made it a good vid to watch
  8. Having gone along to see how Lizard racing got on in qualifying and the MSV race ( http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72198-team-lizard-racing-brands-hatch-8-june/, ), it was part of the American Speedfest weekend at Brands but also included some rather nice historic V8's that caught my eye. So I thought I'd share with you some of the cars I saw around the paddock but leave you to do all the identifications : Support truck OK, it wasn't in the paddock.... and under its hood and my favourite and for all you guys out there thinking you have gone the FI route - check out what is under the hood on this Chevy. and love the external mounted boost and fuel guages And a couple of short vids of atoms and nascars racing - extremes of size! (best to open the vids to full screen)
  9. Also enjoyed a visit to Brands on Saturday to see how Team Lizard got on and to see the team and drivers at work. Tinyflier has provided a great report and pics so all I need to do is add a few of my pics and a couple of vids to share with you what we enjoyed. I do have to add that Mark and Steve did seem to have a difficult qualifying, trying out harder springs that made the tail end just a little to lively and coupled with some new entrants led to their 10th place on the grid. But watching much of the race at Druids it was a pleasure to see Steve and then Mark start to cut through the pack to give them a well earned 5th place, particularly after their required pit-stop that got tangled with a safety car period and led to a bottleneck at the pit entry - which I'm sure Steve will detail in due course. Out for qualifying Competitor being shown who's boss Team at work after qualifying with Abbey's GT86 stealing the view Small problem with the washer bottle coming loose and rubbing on the tyre (Nice brakes ) Slightly bigger problem for some Potentially, the strongest competitor And some others And another Seat competitor's 'shed' Ist lap of the race at Paddock Hill 2nd - 5th laps at Paddock Hill (suggest you enlarge to full screen) Graham Hill bend is always lively and saw a few take to the grass.........mentioning no names Well they got box repaired but obviously got up close and personal with someone And a couple of shots of Team Lizard at Druids and a short vid of Mark at Druids - have to say both he and Steve were very consistent on their lines through the hairpin The weekend racing included other categories including Nascar, Pick-up trucks, Historic V8's and Atoms and I'll bung up another thread of pics of some rather tasty and perhaps not so tasty muscle cars shortly.

  12. Do you mean The 350Z LMGT4'S for a 370Z ? They'd look pretty ghastly on a 370Z IMHO. Pete Really?
  13. Haven't you missed a trick there? Netti now has a nice Zed, Mary wants an MX5 - you could have a swop
  14. Good news Have you mended as well or do you need finishing off too?
  15. Why don't you check the handbook? I would have thought that if it were available it would be stated there.
  16. Shouldn't, given what the ending might have brought but.........
  17. Well its 2.15 as I post this so I hope she did not keep you waiting...........! Many congratulations to you both - enjoy the day and long and happy life together
  18. Have a great day Chris - and what better way to celebrate than to go and give your 370 an airing on some of your favourite roads
  19. Totally agree, but I would like to see the criteria for what is considered hogging the middle lane. Agreed. My understanding (from the IAM) is that if you can occupy the nearside lane for in excess of 15 seconds then you should move there rather than staying in the middle lane. Given the same principle applies if you are in the outside lane, is where I can see some 'issues' as everyone stacks up behind the 65-69mph outside lane hogger who has made their mind up that is the speed everyone should be doing and it may well be those on the end of the 'train' waiting to get by and not wanting to illegally undertake who get caught, when it really should be the clown at the front who should be done.
  20. Quite right too! So anyone else in the same situation, get claiming
