  1. Country Cooks side Graham, as you come down the hill (going east) before Chris's place and its very easy to slip over the limit there.
  2. And that does not show the infamous mobile camera van location on the A5 that parks in the wall recess on the west side or Corwen before the 30 limit changes to a 60 http://goo.gl/maps/SEqSG
  3. Silly me thinking Cornwall was in the South West
  4. You have PM, no bounces from the sent list I expect he has got you registered as Spam instead of Smurf Graham
  5. Got mine last from Westover in Poole by ordering over the phone - arrived in 48 hours and include the rear wiper but that had to include the holding section where the refills are inserted as the system was showing no inserts for them and that was more than double the price of the other two together . But on checking the wiper size when I got them, the rear is the same length as the near side one and I can't see any reason why you cannot use that refill (the cheaper of the two fronts) in the rear holder, saving well over a tenner. Oh, and make sure you put the narrow end of the inserts in first....... Nice to have non-squeaking wipers again
  6. now there's a time saver - Colin, care to share ?
  7. I have the non-connect premium so I'm not sure if the storage is the same - I would expect yours with it to be better if anything. But on mine I can store 5 routes at a time. If you go into the settings menu and then navigation it should show any stored routes you have. You will need to delete at least 4 for the weekend, if you have any To enter a new route just click on the destination screen and input. Now I'm not sure how the input may work on the touchscreen (should make it easier than mine) but if you get stuck just use the separate navigation booklet that came with the car about the inputs. Once you have done one it becomes a lot easier with the rest.
  8. From experience, those using the 350/370 sat navs, you will need to put in both the Saturday and Sunday am and pm routes separately as the 5 way-point limitation will frustrate input that follows the planned routes. But once you have them installed I have found it works well and gave me confidence to lead several drives without fault. Takes a bit of time and 'language' but well worth the effort IMO.

    My First Mod

No stubbies needed on the 370 coupes though......he grins Now the 370 roadster is another matter........what you got Tarmac/Steve350?
  10. For the record: This forum does not condone or encourage the use of public highways or other public places as described by SkyLineV35
  11. As Arran says ^^^^ - nothing to worry about I expect. He has probably got so used to the clutch softies that abound these days and particularly if your 350 is pre facelift they are well known for being stiff - all part of the car's character.
  12. You should have driven off with her cakes, shouting thanks on the way
  13. Big credit to you for the perseverance and even bigger credit for sharing your mechanical apprenticeship with us. Must admit I do tend to lose count the number of times I check spacer/wheels nuts tightness - even with the torque wrench clicking away as much to say "how many more times we going round this bloody wheel."
  14. How do you get 150 litres in your 370
  15. Good timing with the Wales weekend coming and would be using the Shell stations anyway So, expecting to cover around 800 miles @ at (say) 20 mpg that would be 40 gallons which is about 182 litres so its getting on for a nearly a tenner saved All helps
  16. Looking and sounding very professional - well done Chris you have certainly been a great asset for this community
  17. Might explain the lack of grip On mine all those lights show with just the ignition turned on, or you have a severe lack of revs
  18. I believe that is a deal breaker. No zed, not allowed. But I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. One of our 'camera' cars on the Sunday was a non-Zed last year
  19. All to do with any mods declared - 'fraid the age factor doesn't seem to help but @ £420 this time round, but that was significantly cheaper than last year
  20. Does it/they look good ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Went wake boarding and then sat in the garden chilling and having a beer. How do they look? Here you go: http://www.350z-uk.c...running-lights/
  21. GUNS is now similarly adorned - with many thanks to glrnet today for the fitting, together with some white 501's LED sidelights and number plate lights And thanks to the MacDaddy for the inspiration and fitting advice - particularly the right wire to splice into Sidelights only: sidelights with running lights - very bright!: Headlights on which dim the running lights: And a 20 second delay on switching off the lights - very handy.
  22. Nice work Chris
  23. Also, powder coating has been found to lead to discs warping - see here if you have any doubts http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56528-brake-judder-steering-wheel-wobble/page__st__20__hl__+powder%20+coating#entry838327
  24. I'm here - not there! "In service", sounds very grand - although a bit worried about the connection SMD on here might make of that No, best you speak to Ian Fraser if you can - he is the service manager at TW but then I have found all the staff helpful there and if they agree you have an issue will fight your corner with Nissan, if need be.
