  1. Signs of grey sludge when you take the oil filler cap off is likely to mean head gasket or cracked block/cylinder head And does the expansion tank (assuming the Mini has one) look as though it is has oil in? As with the ZED, get a good Indy to look at it rather than a main dealer.
  2. There you go - your first post and expert advice before you have even introduced yourself, so one good turn............
  3. Absolutely no problem Chris - bloody hell after what you do for members on here we ought to be paying you for all your generosity and help

    LMGT4 Refurb

"Ken" on here has had his GT4 alloys refurbished recently and looking at them at the Wales weekend they looked superb, so might be worth asking him. Personally, I would not be put off by travelling as having the right job done and being happy with the outcome for me is far more important that a bit of extra time/cost.
  5. Go back to the dealer and report - and I would suggest if they are not HPC then to take it one of those who are as they are more likely to have the knowledge to advise.
  6. Perhaps they just swapped the wheels and tailgate to another black Zed, unless the front number plate is off the donor car there was a far bit more involved than this i can tell you. I know Bob, and I am always a bit envious whenever I see any thread started by you or any member of the Keyser Clan. It's really heartwarming to see genuine good people with a true passion for their hobbys to step in and lend more than just a helping hand. The world needs more people like yourselves. A huge big +1 to that - absolutely brilliant guys and Kim, you really are one in a million
  7. Glad you finally sussed the for-sale posting rules!
  8. Try RT Performance - ask for Taras (Trader on here) who has recently changed his 370 side skirts
  9. Hmmmm.. i didnt know that. I wrote off a motorbike once after it bounced off a crash barrier and destroyed some fencing. I was fine, and noone else involved so left the scene to get a car & trailer to trailer the bike home. I didnt report it to anyone. Whilst I was off getting a trailer, the Police found the smashed up bike on the grass verge, traced me via the bikes reg number and after spending quite a bit of time contacting local hospitals to see if any injured bikers had turned up, they popped around my house to visit me - by which time id already cleared the bike from the scene. The police werent concerned at all about the incident or me not reporting it, as noone else was involved - they were just amazed I wasnt injured. However they did say the council might want me to pay for the damage to crash barrier & fence. But, I never did actually ever heard anything more from the council and so never paid for any of the repairs at all. Just hope that Council are not checking this forum then! These days, any chance the highway authority responsible can recover some monies to pay for damage caused by others they will pursue. Part of the reason why we all have to have 3rd party insurance, whether it is damage to life or property.
  10. Have a great day - I'm sure Chris will give you a supercharged day in some form or another
  11. Gun Metal . . . thats a bit like silver, but slightly darker isn't it Nah, its those still in primer they forgot to paint :stir:
  12. A reminder of Mark's 350, but sold without those wheels, I believe
  13. Bloody hell that is awful. Looks to me like kids, noting the lower one on on the rear valence, and is that and the one above the rear number plate perhaps some kind of signature - in which case worth asking the local police, who you should report it too, if they might know the culprit(s)? Some insurances eg Direct Line, cover vandalism without affecting your No Claims - worth checking your Insurance small print maybe?
  14. And we have heard Mark (Abbey) has bought a written-off HR so that he can transfer all the necessary into his DE 350 (no doubt for the development potential) as it is not just the engine that is significantly different, as AK350Z rightly records
  15. Have a great day Dave Shame you feel that old though for the need to get a Jag Never mind, perhaps you'll get a flannel suit and pipe for your b/d to go with it
  16. Hope you are having a great day
  17. Moved from 370 sub-forum
